 Description
 
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Scrum Master with demonstrated experience supporting a cloud devops infrastructure project and empowered mindset to support a small Agile team tasked with designing, building, configuring, operating, and maintaining an AWS cloud environment, as well as supporting the development, deployment, operation, performance, and security of applications in production. The successful candidate will practice servant leadership, facilitate Agile processes, remove blockers, drive continual improvement, and foster an attitude of transparency within the team.
 
 
 The Scrum Master will act as a communicative and social primary interface between the engineering team and the application development contractor, handling conflict resolution proactively and ensuring smooth collaboration. Additionally, this individual will serve as the main point of contact for stakeholder inquiries, coordination, and reporting, while being situationally aware and assertive in managing multiple workstreams and project activities.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement in a facilitative and coaching manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, track, and eliminate impediments affecting team productivity, ensuring timely execution and resolution of action items from meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate closely with engineers and developers, promoting adherence to Agile principles, methodologies, and practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee and support the deployment, operation, performance, and security of applications in production.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track progress and manage multiple concurrent DevOps workstreams, providing comprehensive visibility into their statuses and dependencies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete and present weekly and monthly project status reports, utilizing Jira metrics and analytics to evaluate team performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify risks and issues proactively, ensuring timely resolution or effective mitigation strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster effective coordination, conflict resolution, and transparent communication between the internal team and external application development partners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries, maintaining clear and timely updates.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated Scrum responsibilities experience supporting a Cloud Infrastructure project understanding DevOps workflows, technical components and software development practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and ensure alignment, visibility, and coordination across teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience resolving conflicts and facilitating effective communication between internal teams and external development partners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of software deployment processes, operations, performance monitoring, and security practices in a cloud production environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional communicative and social skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in a regulated environment or familiarity with financial regulatory frameworks.
 </li>
 </ul>
