The HR Coordinator position is a key, employee facing role within the JD North America People Regional Business Services model. The Regional Business Services function is responsible for supporting all US businesses within the JD Group, including JD Sports, Finish Line, Finish Line Macy&rsquo;s, Shoe Palace, Nice Kicks, Downtown Locker Room (DTLR), and Hibbett. This position provides world class &ldquo;customer&rdquo; service to employees, and delivers a premium employee experience, by responding to service tickets, assisting with compliance-related issues, and managing various HR processes. This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key responsibilities include responding to tickets, emails, and/or calls to resolve employee issues, or escalate these issues to specialist teams within the People Department. The role also helps with I-9/E-Verify and minor compliance, answering general employee inquiries, and maintaining data in our HRIS system. The HR Coordinator conducts periodic data audits, manages invoicing for HR activities and supports special HR and compliance projects. This role involves regular interaction with business leaders, supervisors, and employees to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and the enhancement of the employee experience. <ul><li>Respond promptly and effectively to Jira tickets, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and providing resolutions within the stipulated time frame.
</li><li>Support improvement and refinement of processes concerning Recruiting, Hiring, Onboarding, Change Job, and Termination to enhance employee experience.
</li><li>Provide support and resolution for any I-9/E-Verify compliance issues, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
</li><li>Provide accurate and timely information as a point of contact for general HR-related inquiries from employees.
</li><li>Appropriately escalate and assign tickets to the relevant departments such as Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS for specialized handling.
</li><li>Review ticketing system dashboards regularly to track ticket status and generate reports for analysis and process improvement.
</li><li>Manage the submission process for promotional background checks, ensuring timely and accurate completion, and communication with managers.
</li><li>Accurately enter new hire information into various support systems, maintaining the integrity of employee data.
</li><li>Responsible for the input, maintenance, audit, extraction, manipulation, and analysis of confidential HR data from the HCM System across various modules (e.g., Recruitment, Talent Management, Employee Records).
</li><li>Conduct regular data audits to ensure the consistency and accuracy of information in the HCM System.
</li><li>Manage and process invoices related to HR activities, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
</li><li>Lead and deliver HR initiatives from inception to completion, including creating and maintaining reports to track progress.
</li><li>Coordinate with the benefits team on ticket ordering for employee perks (e.g., zoo, carwash, and movie tickets).
</li><li>Assist with audit processes related to Open Enrollment, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping
</li></ul>Required Education and/or Experience
Associate&rsquo;s degree (A.S.) from a two-year college or university and at least 1 &ndash; 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant experience can come in a plethora of different environments, including customer facing service industries like retail, customer service industries like a call center, HR roles, or any other administrative support positions. Internal JD Group experience is always preferred.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have strong knowledge and abilities with end user computing platforms like Microsoft/Google Suite applications and ticketing management systems. Must be able to navigate and administer HRIS solutions, with Workday experience being a plus.

</li><li>Strategic Budget Allocation: Direct a multi-million dollar annual acquisition budget across North American digital marketing initiatives, ensuring optimal cross-channel deployment to scale customer acquisition costs (CAC) efficiently.
</li><li>Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, Merchandising, and E-commerce Operations teams to align paid media spend with product availability, high-heat sneaker drops, and seasonal promotional calendars.

<ul><li>Hit acquisition volume targets and ROAS/efficiency targets simultaneously - knowing when to push growth and when to pull back
</li><li>Advanced Search &amp; PMAX Strategy: Drive the overarching paid search roadmap, with a major focus on maximizing the efficiency of Google Performance Max (PMAX) and automated smart bidding architectures to dominate retail market share.
</li><li>Full-Funnel Paid Social: Oversee paid social strategy across mature and emerging platforms&mdash;specifically Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube&mdash;leveraging algorithmic targeting and creative testing frameworks to capture youth culture.
</li><li>Affiliate &amp; Partner Distribution: Scale the North American Affiliate marketing program, shifting past transactional coupon models to focus on strategic content publishers, lifestyle blogs, and high-influence creator networks.
</li><li>Data Attribution &amp; Testing: Spearhead multi-touch attribution, conversion rate optimization (CRO) testing frameworks, and data integration efforts to continually improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience
<ul><li>Proven Retail Background: 7+ years of performance marketing/growth experience, with a mandatory background in retail or e-commerce ecosystems (footwear, apparel, or consumer goods strongly preferred).
</li><li>Experience managing acquisition across multiple channels brands, business lines or conversion events.
</li><li>Experience managing $50m+ in performance marketing budget
</li><li>People Leadership: Proven track record of managing and scaling a team with multiple direct reports. You excel at setting clear KPIs, fostering professional growth, and keeping teams aligned in a fast-paced retail environment.
</li><li>Deep Functional Stack Expertise: Explicit, hands-on strategic knowledge across:
</li><li>Paid Social: Expert-level command of Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Pinterest, and YouTube (Reddit, Snap, etc are preferred as well).
</li><li>Search/PMAX: Deep proficiency in Google's automation suites, product feed health, and shopping structures.
</li><li>Affiliate Networks: Success in running scaled affiliate programs via networks like Impact or Rakuten.
</li><li>Analytical Rigor: Strong data fluency using GA4, Looker Studio, and marketing data pipelines to extract actionable insights. Experience with platforms such as Northbeam, Measured, Analytics Partners, or other MMM partners are preferred.
</li><li>Familiarity with SEO/AEO/GEO strategy and the role organic plays in a full-funnel acquisition mix
</li><li>Fluency with Agentic AI tools as a genuine performance and workflow accelerator
