As a Firehouse team member, you&rsquo;ll help create the Firehouse Experience for our guests with excellent service, pet knowledge, and a warm, friendly attitude. Each day brings opportunities to engage with new pets, learn more about the industry, and share smiles with customers. 
The Role: Visual Display Merchandiser
We&rsquo;re looking for a skilled visual merchandiser with experience in creating boutique-style displays. You should be able to work independently, creating stunning, high-end product displays. This role offers flexibility with both part-time and full-time positions available, depending on your experience and ambition. Pay will be based on your background and the level of responsibility you're ready to take on.
Key Responsibilities:<ul>
<li>
Independently design and maintain product displays on walls, tables, and endcaps&mdash;without planograms or direction.</li>
<li>Prioritize and refresh displays based on sales performance, seasons, and special events.</li>
<li>Ensure that displays align with the Firehouse brand and maintain a polished, inviting store image.</li>
<li>Create and execute seasonal and window displays that captivate customers.</li>
<li>Modify permanent planograms as needed, incorporating new products or resetting displays&mdash;all without a pre-set planogram or guidance.</li>
<li>Create and build gift baskets for community donation program in addition to gift baskets sold inside the store and online.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:<ul>
<li>
Previous experience in visual merchandising (preferably in boutique, fashion, or home d&eacute;cor stores).
</li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen understanding of space, balance, and color.</li>
<li>High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.</li>
<li>Ability to multitask, engaging with customers while working on displays.</li>
<li>Outgoing personality with a passion for interacting with customers and starting conversations.</li>
<li>Regular, consistent attendance, with availability to work flexible hours (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays).</li>
<li>Be prepared to show photos or examples of your previous merchandising work (portfolio, photos, or social media links).</li>
<li>At least one professional reference regarding your merchandising experience is required.</li>
