Job PurposeResponsible for sourcing, purchasing, and expediting firefighting, fire alarm, and MEP materials in compliance with approved specifications, Civil Defense requirements, project schedules, and company cost targets.Key Responsibilities1. Procurement &amp; Purchasing<ul><li>Source and procure firefighting and fire alarm materials (sprinklers, valves, pumps, detectors, panels, cables, pipes, fittings, foam systems, etc.)</li><li>Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and Purchase Orders (POs)</li><li>Ensure materials comply with QCDD / NFPA / EN / UL / FM approvals</li><li>Coordinate with engineering and projects teams for approved submittals</li></ul>2. Vendor &amp; Supplier Management<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and maintain approved suppliers and manufacturers</li><li>Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules</li><li>Ensure procurement from authorized dealers (Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Autronica, etc.)</li><li>Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues</li></ul>3. Logistics &amp; Delivery Follow-Up<ul><li>Follow up on deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time</li><li>Coordinate with stores and site teams for material receipt</li><li>Handle import documentation when required (COO, invoices, packing lists)</li></ul>4. Documentation &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Maintain procurement records (POs, delivery notes, invoices)</li><li>Support material approvals and Civil Defense inspections</li><li>Ensure traceability of UL/FM certificates and test reports</li></ul>6. Coordination &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Coordinate with:</li><li>Project Managers</li><li>Engineers</li><li>Storekeepers</li><li>Finance department</li><li>Prepare procurement status reports and material tracking logs</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business</li><li>3&ndash;7 years experience in procurement for firefighting / MEP companies</li><li>Strong knowledge of:</li><li>Firefighting systems</li><li>Fire alarm systems</li><li>QCDD &amp; NFPA standards</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Excellent negotiation and communication skills</li><li>Strong knowledge of firefighting materials &amp; brands</li><li>Proficient in Excel, ERP systems (Odoo)</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Attention to detail and compliance-focused mindset</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>On-time material delivery (%)</li><li>Cost savings achieved</li><li>Supplier compliance rate</li><li>Zero rejection from Civil Defense due to material issues</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
