<div>The Senior Branch Service Representative will assume, but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:<ul><li>
Receives and verifies sufficient cash from supervisor or designee, to handle daily cash disbursements. Balances cash receipts and prepares daily work summary envelopes.</li><li>
Opens various credit union accounts, including IRAs, trusts, term certificates, shares and share draft accounts.</li><li>
Interviews loan applicants, counsels members regarding consumer loan options, prepares documents and loan records, and makes sound recommendations to loan officers.</li><li>
Discloses and funds approved loans. In the event a loan is denied, explains reason for loan decision.</li><li>
Assists with the maintenance, control, and security of vault cash, including ordering of cash and verifying shipments upon arrival.</li><li>
Assists to maintain appropriate control over Instant Issue ATM cards, checking account starter kits, cashier's checks, money orders, etc., while maintaining appropriate supply levels.</li><li>
Assists to train staff and communicates any changes to procedures or promotional information in a timely manner</li><li>
Assists in scheduling staff to ensure proper coverage, while satisfying all applicable wage and hour laws.</li></ul> 
The successful candidate will possess the following education, knowledge and skillsets:<ul><li>
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent</li><li>
Minimum four years' experience as a teller, loan processor, new accounts representative, or telephone representative in a financial institution</li><li>
Basic math and 10-key skills</li><li>
Excellent customer service and sales skills</li><li>
Personal computer proficiency in programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel</li></ul>
