Position Summary

The Relationship Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while performing a variety of banking functions. This role combines teller and personal banker responsibilities to provide a seamless customer experience. The Senior Relationship Banker builds relationships with customers, identifies financial needs, and recommends appropriate products and services. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

<ul><li> Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Open new deposit accounts and related services and assist customers with account maintenance.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Educate customers on digital banking tools and services.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Support FGB sponsored Financial Foundations efforts to promote financial education in the communities we serve.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate banking solutions.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Support branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Assist with branch operations and administrative tasks as needed.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Adhere to BSA/AML policy and all other bank policies.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.</li></ul></div> 


Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.</li>
<li>1 year of customer service experience required.</li>
<li>6 months of cash handling experience required.</li>
<li>Previous banking strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking systems.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</li></ul>
