Overview: 
Obtain vital signs and general health information for patient chart and prepares patient for examination. Assists the provider as needed with examinations and procedures. Assists in the collection of laboratory specimens and performance of tests on patients as ordered by the provider or arranges for patient testing, admissions and referrals. Enters and records patient information in charts in a concise and accurate manner.
 
Qualifications: 
The following, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential
 
functions of the position.
 
CMA -
 
Graduate of accredited program of Certified Medical Assistants.
 
Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in family care practice.
 
LPN -
 
Graduate of accredited program of Licensed Practical Nurse.
 
Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in family care practice.
 
Paramedic -
 
Current NC EMT-Paramedic Certification
 
Current BLS
 
Prefer at least one year of clinical experience in a clinical setting.
 
For geographic locations with more than one clinic, staff will be expected to float between clinics when operational need warrants

CMA/LPN/Clinic Tech

Position Summary: 
FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Moore Regional Hospital, is in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Our inpatient pharmacy is seeking a clinical pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care. The position is primarily based at the Moore Campus.
 
This is a 40 hour per week position including one weekend per month with one evening shift weekly. The position is in-person with occasional remote opportunities. The pharmacy department is highly automated utilizing Epic EMR, Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets and I.V workflow management systems.
 
Responsibilities: 
Responsibilities include order verification, multi-disciplinary rounds, initiation and follow up of pharmacokinetic monitoring, and assisting providers with antibiotic selection and drug information.
 
Thorough knowledge of pharmaceuticals and contemporary pharmacy practice is required. The clinical pharmacist must complete organize activities that are executed via established procedures and techniques within the pharmacy department. Attention to detail is required to ensure proper interpretation of clinical information. The clinical pharmacists manage a fast paced and high-volume workload and stressful situations, prioritize tasks, and follow through to see that all tasks are completed.
 
The clinical pharmacist will maintain professional competency appropriate to the services provided and attend to the needs of all populations served. Interpersonal communication skills are imperative to effectively communicate with both our professional customers and patients utilizing our services. The position reports to the director of pharmacy operations and oversees pharmacy technicians.
 
Qualifications: 
Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy and currently licensed by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacists must acquire sufficient continuing education credits to maintain license. Preference will be given to applicants who have completed a pharmacy residency or have equivalent experience.
