SUMMARY 
The Teller will be responsible for daily teller transactions in both the lobby and drive-up locations of the branch. This position is also responsible for the delivery of outstanding client service and for developing and maintaining client relationships by recognizing referral opportunities for additional products and other lines of business. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Provides client account services by processing deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, processing savings withdrawals, recording night and mail deposits, selling cashier&rsquo;s checks, and redeeming savings bonds.</li><li>
Answers clients&rsquo; questions in person and over the telephone.</li><li>
Processes additional transactions as needed, including preparing currency transaction reports.</li><li>
Identifies basic cross-sell and referral opportunities by answering inquiries, informing clients of new services and product promotions, determining client needs, and directing clients to a banker.</li><li>
Utilizes 360View to record activities, incidents, and referrals to business partners and other lines of business.</li><li>
Processes consumer credit card applications.</li><li>
Completes special client requests such as closing accounts, ordering checks, exchanging foreign currency, providing special statements or copies, completing referrals, and performing safe-deposit box procedures.</li><li>
Reconciles cash drawer by verifying cash transactions, counting and packaging currency and coin, submitting excess cash and mutilated currency to the vault custodian, and maintaining appropriate cash supplies.</li><li>
Complies with bank operations and security procedures, including participating in dual-control functions, maintaining client traffic surveys, auditing other teller currency, and assisting in certification of proof.</li><li>
Maintains client confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential and cautioning others regarding potential breaches.</li><li>
Enhances job knowledge by attending training sessions.</li><li>
Contributes to client service and bank success by welcoming new or different requests and supporting team members to accomplish results.</li><li>
Demonstrates basic product knowledge and proficiency with client-facing systems.</li><li>
Completes work accurately with minimal errors.</li><li>
Participates in volunteer activities.</li></ul>

SUMMARY 
The Community Banker delivers personalized client service by holding financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine their needs and provide appropriate solutions. This position is responsible for maintaining client relationships, with emphasis on First Interstate Bank's Service Commitments and in accordance with our vision and values. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone by answering questions, assisting with issues, and offering solutions.</li><li>
Opens and maintains a variety of products, including consumer and business checking and savings accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, and consumer and small business credit cards.</li><li>
Holds financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine needs and provide appropriate solutions.</li><li>
Processes new consumer loan requests; may also engage in conversations or process new small business loan requests.</li><li>
Identifies referral opportunities to other lines of business&mdash;including, but not limited to, Home Loans, Treasury Solutions, Merchant Services, Business Banking, and Wealth Management&mdash;and consistently utilizes 360 View to document referrals and other client activity.</li><li>
Builds client relationships through outbound outreach and proactive engagement.</li><li>
Performs Teller duties as needed, conducting financial transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and accurately counting currency and coin.</li><li>
Completes work accurately with minimal errors.</li><li>
Participates in volunteer activities and financial education efforts.</li><li>
Stays current on regulatory changes and demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations, policies, and procedures related to assigned job functions; knowledge may be gained through coursework and on‑the‑job training.</li></ul>

COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS
We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The pay range for this position is $23.61 to $35.42 per hour in CO and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Benefits include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short- term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at .069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays.
