SUMMARY<br>
The Associate Community Banking delivers personalized client service by holding financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine their needs and provide appropriate solutions. This position is responsible maintaining client relationships, with emphasis on First Interstate Bank's Service Commitments and in accordance with our vision and values.<br>
<br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</div><ul><li>
Delivers personalized client service in person and over the phone by answering questions, assisting with issues, and offering solutions.</li><li>
Opens and maintains a variety of products, including consumer and basic business checking and savings accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Certificates of Deposit, consumer credit cards, and more.</li><li>
Performs Teller duties, conducting a variety of financial transactions such as check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and accurately counting currency and coin.</li><li>
May engage in conversations about and process new consumer loan requests.</li><li>
Holds financial conversations with clients and prospects to determine needs and provide appropriate solutions.</li><li>
Identifies referral opportunities to other lines of business&mdash;including, but not limited to, Home Loans, Treasury Solutions, Merchant Services, Business Banking, and Wealth Management&mdash;consistently utilizing 360 View to document referrals and other client activity.</li><li>
Builds client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.</li><li>
Completes work accurately with minimal errors.</li><li>
Participates in volunteer activities and financial education efforts.</li><li>
Stays current on regulatory changes and demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations, policies, and procedures related to assigned job functions; knowledge may be gained through coursework and on‑the‑job training.</li></ul><div><br>

This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.</li></ul><div><br>
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required</li><li>
Banking or related experience required</li></ul><div><br>

COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS<br>
We offer a competitive total compensation package including base salary and benefits. The anticipated pay range for this position is $21.45 to $32.19 per hour in CO and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location. Benefits include, but are not limited to, medical, dental, vision, short- term and long-term disability benefits and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, employee assistance program, 401(k), Paid Time Off (new hires accrue at .069 per hours worked which equates to approximately 18 days per year inclusive of paid sick time) and up to 11 paid Federal holidays. Please note this information is provided for those hired in Colorado and Washington only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado and Washington with compensation that aligns with your location.
