We are looking for a reliable Student Transportation Driver to join our FAST GROWING team. Students will need transportation going to and from school in the area of Newburyport MA, following a designated route with specific times, Monday-Friday. No weekends. Vehicle and fuel card will be provided to you. The ideal candidate will have experience in Student Transportation, hold a school bus certificate, has excellent communication skills and proven reliability. If you have a background in transportation and enjoy being on the road, we would love to hear from you.Duties:<ul><li>The Driver is responsible for the well being of students while they are being transported to and from school or educationally related activities.</li><li>The Driver will work under the supervision of the Student Transportation Coordinator.</li><li>Keeps the Transportation Coordinator informed of any problems regarding each student&rsquo;s transport and attendance.</li><li>Maintains discipline when students are on the bus.</li><li>Need to be flexible for scheduling purposes.</li><li>Discharges students only at authorized stops.</li><li>Notifies the proper authority in case of mechanical failure or lateness.</li><li>Reports all accidents and completes required reports.</li><li>Provide a safe environment for all children.</li><li>Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Have a clean driving record</li><li>Demonstrate qualities of neatness/cleanliness.</li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age, and have a Driver&rsquo;s License for at least three years.</li></ul>Please note that this position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. School bus certificate is preferred but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate.
