 A leading, fast-growing engineering consultancy specialising in hyperscale data centres and mission-critical infrastructure is seeking an experienced procurement Associate to join its expanding team.
 
 
 
 
 
 Working within a high-growth environment, you will play a key role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services that support complex engineering and construction projects
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage end-to-end procurement activities for engineering and construction projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Source and evaluate suppliers to secure the best commercial and operational outcomes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, lead times, payment terms, warranties, and contracts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare commercial evaluations and procurement recommendations for stakeholder approval.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate closely with engineering, commercial, project delivery, and finance teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules to support project milestones.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive supplier relationship management, cost-saving initiatives, and procurement best practices.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 8+ years' experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management roles.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 5+ years experience within data centres, engineering, construction, MEP
 
 or Engineering related project-based environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management expertise.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of procurement systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Excel.
 </li>
 <li>
 The ability to manage multiple procurement packages and project deadlines simultaneously.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 </li>

 Deliver technical workshops, demos, and training sessions

 Translate real-world customer challenges into product feedback and engineering requirements

 3&ndash;8+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or similar roles
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong hands-on coding ability (full-stack or backend preferred)
 </li>

 Experience with system integrations, APIs, and distributed systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to work directly with customers in technical environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills in
 
 both Chinese and English (must-have)

 Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
 </li>
