Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, warm-hearted Nursery Teacher to join our team! If you have a background in Early Childhood Education and a passion for caring for young children in a faith-filled environment, we would love to meet you. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading simple Bible-based activities and can commit consistently to Sundays and Thursdays, 4 hours per day.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Provide loving, age-appropriate care for children ages 0 to 6</li><li>
Lead simple faith-based activities, songs, and Bible lessons</li><li>
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized nursery environment</li><li>
Change diapers, assist with toileting, and manage classroom transitions</li><li>
Engage with children through play, stories, and music</li><li>
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures</li><li>
Communicate kindly and professionally with parents and staff</li><li>
Arrive on time and be consistently present for assigned days</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
At least 1 year of experience in early childhood care, preschool, or church nursery</li><li>
Background in Early Childhood Education (preferred)</li><li>
Strong understanding of child development and classroom safety</li><li>
Comfortable incorporating Christian teachings and faith-based values</li><li>
CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)</li><li>
Dependable, nurturing, and enthusiastic about working with children</li></ul>
Schedule:<ul><li>
Sundays: 7:45 a.m. &ndash; 12:30 p.m.</li><li>
Thursdays: 8:00 a.m. &ndash; 12:00 p.m.</li><li>
4 hours per day (8 hours per week total)</li><li>
Additional hours available if desired (up to 28 hours per week)</li></ul>
