Basic Job Functions:</b></p>

<p><b>Essential Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Solves day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems under the supervision of experienced technicians, supervisors and engineers.</li>
<li>Performs the on-site service and repair of equipment.</li>
<li>Identifies and implements yield and product performance improvements.</li>
<li>Accomplishes daily assignments as scheduled and as directed.</li>
<li>Develops methods to assign causes to yield excursions.</li>
<li>Sets up and maintain gauges.</li>
<li>Ensures all processes are running on target as defined by the Process Control Plan.</li>
<li>Responds to SPC process control alarms, bringing processes back into control.</li>
<li>Executes planned process experiments, collect and analyze data and report experimental results.</li>
<li>Collects data relating to daily tool performance and associated product performance.</li>
<li>Transitions new equipment and processes through start-up, qualification, and implementation</li>
<li>Provides training to production associates once a certain level of proficiency is reached.</li>
<li>Develops and update internal documentation including drawings, standard operating procedures, and process specifications.</li>
<li>Interface with internal associates and supplier representatives, as required, to complete assigned projects.</li>
<li>Develop a complete understanding of area processes, equipment, and support systems.</li>
<li>Maintain effective communication with other members of the manufacturing team.</li>
<li>Disposition non-conforming product according to established criteria (NCP).</li>
<li>Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.</li>
<li>Will complete First Solar Associate EMT training program.</li>
<li>Ensure waste materials are discarded in their designated containers.</li>
<li>Ensure hazardous waste containers stay closed except when adding or removing waste.</li>
<li>Ensure satellite accumulation containers stay in their designated locations.</li>

Education/Experience:</b></p>

<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in data science, Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Statistics, or Physics with 4+ years of relevant work experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning algorithm development</li>
