Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor&rsquo;s or Associate degree.1 to 2 years&rsquo; experience in a human resources position preferred.Job Summary: HR Assistant to support busy HR department. Will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process, scheduling new employee orientations and training and entering of a high volume of employment records into HR database and assist with benefit management.Detailed Responsibilities:<ul><li>Enter employment data into ADP Workforce Now database</li><li>Assist internal Recruiter with the hiring process, including submitting job postings online and scheduling candidate interviews</li><li>Assist Leave Specialist administer state and federal employment leaves</li><li>Helping to develop programs to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each staff member</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills</li><li>Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed</li><li>Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees</li></ul>Physical Demands: Intermittent standing, sitting for long periods of time, finger dexterity to perform duties such as typing and writing.Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid jury duty</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
