This individual contributor role is responsible for creating and executing digital content, marketing strategies and campaigns, creating a body of content to improve our company's/content's search ranking, drive traffic and engagement with the First Student/Charter websites and maximize ROI for paid search and digital advertising.
Major Responsibilities<ul><li>
Craft tailored and dynamic content which is aligned with overall business objectives and reflects First Student's style and voice.</li><li>
Grow and nurture our customer/prospect base by working with marketing, digital agencies, communications and sales to identify content opportunities and to create and deliver relevant, impactful content across channels.</li><li>
Develop and manage SEO/organic search, paid search and digital advertising strategies for increased prospect awareness and lead generation.</li><li>
Oversee websites and work with First Student / Charter team and external agencies to propose, plan, execute and communicate content developments and quality / performance enhancements. Continually monitor websites in a proactive manner to ensure that information is accurate, content is current and pages are free of errors.</li><li>
Continually test content formats and distribution channels to determine the optimal approach to reaching and engaging various segments of First Student's target audiences.</li><li>
Routinely assess and report on digital marketing effectiveness across all channels with clear recommendations and thoughtful plans for continuous improvement.</li></ul> 
Minimum Education or Certifications Required<ul><li>
Requires a four-year degree, preferably in marketing.</li></ul> 
Minimum Experience or Skills Required<ul><li>
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Marketing</li><li>
Requires a high level of collaboration, curiosity, creativity, attention to detail, project management skills and a drive for results.</li><li>
The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to write persuasively across multiple mediums - digital, social, mobile, print - and the ability and desire to work collaboratively in a cross- functional team environment. This candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for visual organization and design.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and visual presentation</li><li>
Creative mind to define content for a variety of communications across multiple media</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are required</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with emphasis on being conscientious and detail-oriented</li><li>
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully</li><li>
Ability to think of the customer first, understanding what the audience wants or needs to know and how and when they consumer information</li><li>
Intermediate knowledge and experience with web sites, SEO and marketing analytics</li><li>
Proficiency with MS Office applications. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.</li></ul>

Location Manager Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Manages operational expenses and explains budget variances</li><li>
Manages injury and collision claims</li><li>
Ensures safety practices and applicable regulations are obeyed by all employees</li><li>
Ensure facilities and buses are maintained to First Student safety and environmental standards</li><li>
Sets accurate schedules for routes</li><li>
Minimizes route drive times and mileage while adhering to contractual and regulatory mandates</li><li>
Provides accurate and timely operational and financial reporting as requested by AGM and/or finance</li><li>
Ensures purchases follow company processes and policies</li><li>
Drives employee engagement and recognition</li></ul> 
Location Manager Experience and Skills Required:<ul><li>
4-year degree or equivalent</li><li>
Minimum 3 years management experience</li><li>
Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills</li><li>
Business background in financial, strategic, and/or organizational analysis</li><li>
Prior transportation or logistics experience preferred</li></ul>
