Job Overview We are seeking an in-house Social Media Content Specialist to focus on creating and managing day-to-day content across our social platforms.This role is centered around capturing real content, keeping our pages active, and maintaining consistent engagement. You will be responsible for filming, editing, and posting content, while also working alongside our existing marketing partners by providing them with footage and content they can use in broader campaigns.This is a content-focused, in-house position. We are not looking to outsource this role.Duties<ul><li>Capture video and photo content in the field and at the office</li><li>Edit and produce high-quality short-form content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok</li><li>Post and manage content across all social media platforms</li><li>Maintain a consistent posting schedule to keep pages active and relevant</li><li>Monitor comments, messages, and overall engagement</li><li>Track content performance and identify which posts generate the most engagement and reach</li><li>Adjust content style and approach based on performance insights to improve results over time</li><li>Stay current on trends and apply them in a way that fits our brand</li><li>Work with our team to highlight jobs, services, and company culture</li><li>Coordinate with our marketing partners by supplying content and footage for additional use</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience creating and editing social media content with a portfolio or examples</li><li>Strong video editing skills with an understanding of pacing, hooks, and audience retention</li><li>Ability to evaluate content performance and make improvements based on engagement and reach</li><li>Comfortable shooting video in an active, on-the-job environment</li><li>Strong understanding of current social media trends and content styles</li><li>Ability to manage content from concept through posting and follow-up</li><li>Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently</li><li>Experience with Facebook Advertising and other paid social media campaigns to boost engagement effectively.</li><li>Strong understanding of social listening tools to monitor brand reputation and industry trends.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for content creation, proofreading, relationship management, and public relations activities.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience.
