PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:The Fitness Manager has a key role in impacting the Retention of Gym &amp; PT Members. The role demands a hands-on approach, with meaningful and impactful presence &ldquo;on the floor&rdquo; in the Gym. The Floor Manager is instrumental in making this happen.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES&middot; Based in the Gym, the Fitness Manager is responsible for acting as a Quality Assurance auditor, ensuring that equipment, cleanliness, staff are in a state of operational optimality.&middot; &ldquo;Owns&rdquo; the Gym &amp; PT Unit, responsible for delivering operational excellence across the board, including Marketing; Human Resource Management; Member Management; Service-Quality delivery &amp; Member Retention; Scheduling &amp; Programming; P&amp;L Management&middot; Drives Unit Personal Training, developing programs, leveraging the team of Level I, II, II Instructors, and delivering against Budget Targets&middot; Designs Personal Training Programs and manages the Personal Training feedback process; ensuring a systematic feedback mechanism to FITNGLAM members.&middot; Acts as an easily available &ldquo;ear&rdquo; to all FitnGlam Members, always ready to discuss objectives, goals, achievements, programming, and progress&middot; Co-ordinates with Fitness Instructors and PTs, ensuring the Gym is always tidy, equipment correctly stored, staff executing their duties as per Standard Operating Procedures.&middot; Manages the Personal Trainers and their client&rsquo;s sessions; reporting the sell-in / sell-out weekly to the management.&middot; Liaises informally with FitnGlam Members in order to have a real-time and first-hand understanding of customer sentiment, needs, complaints, suggestions.&middot; Run Periodic Surveys online and through member feedback form to report on the complaints and action it with the relevant Unit Head / Process owner.&middot; Coordinates closely with both the other department heads and GM to ensure members are receiving the attention and care we aspire to.&middot; Other duties as assigned, including: GM Stand-In; Manager on Duty; Customer Relationship Management duties&middot; Responsible for &ldquo;patrolling&rdquo; our facilities in order to &ldquo;Scan-Validate&rdquo; Members&rsquo; RFID Bracelets&middot; Will assume responsibility for:o Daily monitoring of Gym / CrossFit Class Bookings &amp; Attendance (via Sentinel)o Compliance re. Booking / Attendance Policyo Weekly presentation of Bookings / Attendance / PT Frequency &amp; Packages Inventory data to GMo ROTA of Gym InstructorsQUALIFICATIONS&middot; Diploma Certificate&middot; REPS L3&middot; First Aid and AED Certified&middot; Computer skills &ndash; MS Office, internet, membership systemsEXPERIENCEMinimum 3 Years&rsquo; Experience as Fitness Manager is MustExperience as a personal trainer.Arabic Speaking is a PlusKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES&middot; Advanced knowledge of exercise physiology, kinesiology, and anatomy&middot; Outstanding communication skills and ability to instruct and teach.&middot; Experience in the management of human resources and business management&middot; Excellent customer service skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: AED10,000.00 per month
