Job Overview: 
As a Maintenance Technician at Fitch Irick, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in keeping our properties running smoothly and safely. You&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated professionals while maintaining beautiful living spaces and ensuring a high quality of life for our residents. Every day presents a new challenge, from routine maintenance to emergency repairs, and we need someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping our communities in great shape.
Your Impact:<ul><li>
Property Care: Take ownership of the upkeep of the grounds, buildings, and amenities. This includes cleaning, trash removal, and regular inspections to ensure everything looks and functions at its best.</li><li>
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance to prevent issues before they arise. You&rsquo;ll make sure all systems&mdash;HVAC, plumbing, electrical&mdash;are operating smoothly.</li><li>
Timely Repairs: Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests, ensuring minimal disruption for residents.</li><li>
Unit Turnovers: When residents move out, you&rsquo;ll help get units ready for the next resident, ensuring each space is clean, functional, and up to Fitch Irick&rsquo;s high standards.</li><li>
Emergency Response: Handle emergency repairs efficiently and ensure incidents are documented for insurance purposes.</li><li>
Compliance: Keep the property compliant with all safety regulations and Fair Housing standards.</li></ul>
Who We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>
Experience: At least 1 year of general maintenance experience is required. Experience in property management is a plus.</li><li>
Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.</li><li>
Physical Stamina: This role requires physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds, bending, stooping, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.</li><li>
Team Player: You should be reliable, collaborative, and able to take ownership of your tasks.</li><li>
Certifications: EPA/CFC certification is preferred</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Valid Driver&rsquo;s License required.</li><li>
Ability to occasionally travel between properties.</li></ul>
