Responsibilities:
<p><b>
You&rsquo;ll</b><b> Achieve Success By:</b></p><ul><li><b>
Managing front desk operations</b>, including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while providing exceptional customer service.</li><li><b>
Verifying insurance coverage</b>, processing authorizations, and collecting payments to support accurate billing and ensure smooth patient access to care.</li><li><b>
Maintaining accurate patient records</b> by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documentation.</li><li><b>
Answering phone calls and assisting patients</b> in a courteous and professional manner while upholding HIPAA compliance and fostering a welcoming healthcare environment.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma/GED required</li><li>
Basic office and customer service skills</li><li>
Previous experience in a similar role desired</li></ul>

We are searching for a <b>Physical Therapist Assistant</b> to join our growing company in our Port Charlotte, FL clinic location. The right candidate for the job will be able to apply expert clinical skills to meet our patients&rsquo; needs with empathy and understanding. The PTA will will work closely and under the direction of the physical therapist to assist our patients to improve their quality of life through prescribed one-on-one exercise, hands-on care, and patient education.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Responsibilities:

You&rsquo;ll achieve success by:</b></div></div><div><ul><li>
Assist in evaluation of client&rsquo;s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations
</li><li>Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques including exercise Instruction, manual therapy techniques, activities of daily living, and Isokinetic program
</li><li>Observe patients during treatments and reports observations to Physical Therapist</li><li>
Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs</li></ul></div>
Qualifications:

Current Florida Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Licensure</div></li><li><div>
HIPAA Knowledge</div></li><li><div>
Outpatient PTA Experience</div></li><li><div>
