What does the Support Lead do?
Under the leadership of the Store Manager/Leader and Customer Service Manager, assists with direction of the Front End Lead(s) (if applicable) and sales associates of the store while the Manager on Duty. The Support Lead is responsible for all key functions of the store as directed. The Support Lead is also responsible to &ldquo;Wow the Customer&rdquo;, assist with front end operations, cash management, cleanliness, safety, and driving sales.

QUALIFICATIONS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Execute a comprehensive and strategic real estate market plan throughout entire real estate lifecycle for assigned territory with oversight of Sr. real estate manager</li><li>Collaborate closely with local broker teams &amp; Manager of Analytics/Senior Real Estate Manager to develop, refine and execute market plan</li><li>Collaborate closely with construction, design, facilities, finance and asset management to ensure successful store launch from site identification, to opening and throughout the store lifecycle</li><li>Responsible for site selection of new store locations and existing store repositioning opportunities with oversight of Sr Real Estate Manager</li><li>Effectively manage local real estate broker teams to maintain required standards for executing new store growth plans</li><li>Conduct field tours with key stakeholders of potential and existing locations</li><li>Work closely with legal counsel (and Sr. Manager) on all lease negotiations in assigned territory</li><li>Manage a pipeline of LOI and lease negotiations simultaneously to achieve aggressive growth targets throughout near term and long term market planning</li><li>Preparation of detailed LOI&rsquo;s, comprehensive site approval packages and other financial based reports and analysis including site submittal packages for presentation at monthly Real Estate Committee (REC) meeting</li><li>Present proposed site approval packages at monthly Real Estate Committee (REC) meeting in assigned territory</li><li>Frequent travel to/within assigned territory to maintain a strong understanding of retail trade areas including traffic and retail patterns, demographic trends and market shifts, as well as proactively planning for targeted future opportunities</li><li>Frequent communication with operational partners and periodic presentations/meetings to review strategy and priorities for new store &amp; potential relocations within assigned territories</li><li>Develop/maintain relationships with key developers, while effectively communicating with and managing expectations of external business partners</li><li>Attend/represent Five Below at select Regional &amp; National ICSC Conventions</li><li>Assist the real estate team with ad-hoc projects as assigned, leveraging individual strengths, skills and relevant experience.</li></ul>

What You Bring to the Team</h1>
5&ndash;10+ years of leadership experience where you&rsquo;ve led teams and delivered results.
Experience managing a store or large department &mdash; retail preferred but not required.
You&rsquo;ve grown from the inside &mdash; promotion from assistant or co-manager roles is a big plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers. Trains the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience; ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check out experience.</li>
<li>Responsible for leading their assigned store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals provided by the District Manager.</li>
<li>Responsible for leading front end operations, ensuring front end merchandising (candy, soda, snacks) are set and meet or exceed brand standards. Ensures that all front-end equipment is in working order and associates are trained to include services where applicable.</li>
<li>Responsible for opening and closing procedures, maintaining the store cleanliness, recovery, and keeping their store ready for customers at all times.</li>
<li>Responsible for performing store manager duties in their absence.</li>
<li>Partners with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop and supervise all crew members.</li>
<li>Reviews all corporate communications and reacts accordingly.</li>
<li>Partners with the entire store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.</li>
<li>Performs store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stock room</li>
<li>This job description is not all-inclusive. Additional responsibilities will be determined by the Store Manager, as dictated by store needs.</li>
