RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Build a Culture of Working Back from the Customer
 
<ul>
<li>Lead a growth-oriented sales culture to achieve store business performance results.</li>
<li>Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the application of the Five Below service model that empowers your crew to say yes to customers.</li>
<li>Anticipate the needs of the customer and create an amazing store environment.</li>
<li>Lead execution and maintenance of all company merchandising and operational standards ensuring consistency with Brand Standards.</li>
</ul>
Develop a High Performing Crew
 
<ul>
<li>Hire and engage talented employees, with the necessary skills, to be at the right place (i.e., store role) at the right time.</li>
<li>Ensure people feel cared for and connected to each other and foster a culture that values and appreciates inclusion and diversity.</li>
<li>Inspire accountability by providing training, coaching, and consistent feedback to your team.</li>
<li>Present facts clearly, coach effectively, and actively listen to inspire trust and respect of direct reports.</li>
<li>Partner with District Manager and Human Resources for employee coaching / counseling, performance documentation and employee relations matters.</li>
<li>Maintain an environment that is safe for your customers and crew.</li>
<li>Execute a talent plan that makes Five Below an employer of choice, attracts quality candidates, and retains the best talent.</li>
<li>Foster career growth through individual development planning and performance coaching.</li>
<li>Develop a peer network internally and externally to build strong recruitment and succession planning for your store.</li>
</ul>
Drive a Consistent Business
 
<ul>
<li>Analyze daily, weekly, monthly business results and pursue ways to drive greater performance level of direct reports. Leverage reports and metrics to make decisions including sales, customer experience, profitability, shrink, payroll, and staffing.</li>
<li>Balance competing priorities with a recognition of what is critical.</li>
<li>Develop and manage payroll budgets and crew schedules that balance financial responsibility with customer expectations and crew availability.</li>
<li>Ensure the proper execution of all financial management controls, critical controls, and adherence to company policies.</li>
<li>Oversee successful receiving and ensure stocking procedures are properly followed and maintained.</li>
<li>Ensure the execution of physical inventory and compliance with company data integrity processes.</li>
<li>Assure that merchandise flow meets company set standards and closely monitor sell through.</li>
<li>Perform store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, maintaining stock room.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all the Five Below Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).</li>
<li>Review all corporate communications and prioritizes/plans accordingly.</li>
<li>Achieve results without compromising quality or integrity of work and adhere to company handbook and policies as well as local, state, and federal laws.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned, including services.</li>
</ul>

QUALIFICATIONS

<li>High School Graduate or equivalent</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>

POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Crew Member Services Coordinator supports the Crew Member Services team. The Crew Member Services team is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Five Below Crew records and Tier 1 processes for Human Resources (HR). This position serves as a subject matter expert (SME) and coordinates with internal and external partners to support HR and business needs.
 
Job Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Provide day to day support to Crew Member Services Operations</li>
<li>Advise Crew Members on a wide range of HR policies, procedures, processes and systems across all functional areas to deliver accurate and timely response to customer contacts including but not limited to:</li>
<li>Technical troubleshooting and password resets for multiple HR platforms</li>
<li>Data entry and corrections in multiple HR platforms</li>
<li>Onboarding reviews and troubleshooting</li>
<li>Candidate and new hire assistance</li>
<li>Employment and wage verifications</li>
<li>Calculate and administer timely final payment in accordance with state laws</li>
<li>Unemployment Compensation</li>
<li>COVID-19 administration following CDC guidance</li>
<li>Administration and tier 1 technical support for HR technology, workforce management, onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, talent development and travel& expense</li>
<li>Review and approve submitted business processes in Workday for accuracy and revise on an as needed basis</li>
<li>Intake Crew Member Services cases via calls, emails, web forms, paper mail, and walk-in contacts while maintaining up to date and thorough notes using a case management system (Zendesk)</li>
<li>Meet established Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Metrics including customer satisfaction rate and solved tickets</li>
<li>Special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by Crew Member Services Manager</li>
<li>May be required to have weekend, evening, and/or holiday availability to support business needs</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
 
Experience: 
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 1 year Human Resources experience is preferred</li>
<li>A minimum of 2 years experience with Shared Services, HR Call Centers, or People Operations preferred</li>
<li>Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM), Workforce Management (WFM), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred</li>
<li>Experience with Workday, Kronos, Legion, and Zendesk strongly preferred</li>
</ul>
Functional Skill Requirements
 
HR Technical Expertise – HR Shared Services Administration
 Demonstrated proficiency in responding to customer requests, problem solving, processing administrative transactions and case management for a variety of areas, such as but not limited to benefits administration, staffing administration, learning administration, compensation administration, relocation administration, HRIS data reporting, policy application, etc.
 
HR Technical Expertise – HR Information Systems Application& Reporting
 Demonstrated proficiency in application of HR systems to respond to customer requests, solve problems, process administrative transactions, and manage data integrity. Acquires and applies technical knowledge, skills, and experience to accomplish results and serve customers better.
 
HR Technical Expertise - Process Management / Process Improvement
 Follows prescribed processes and guidelines per operating procedures. Figures out the process necessary to get things done. Suggests continuous improvement opportunities to develop better, faster, more efficient ways of doing things (including eliminating unnecessary work and all non-value-added activities).
