The General Service Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the facility and supporting team operations.</div>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Job Responsibilities and Duties:</b></h3><ul><li><b>
Facility Maintenance:</b></li><li>
Clean and organize the interior and exterior of the facility.</li><li>
Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.</li><li>
Clean the shop (Monday, Wednesday, Friday AM) and the office (Tuesdays and Thursdays).</li><li><b>
Vehicle Management:</b></li><li>
Assist with the movement and parking of vehicles.</li><li>
Wash and detail vehicles after repairs, ensuring cleanliness inside and out.</li><li><b>
Support for Technicians:</b></li><li>
Deliver tools and materials to technicians as needed.</li><li>
Assist with vehicle teardown/reassembly and heavy lifting.</li><li><b>
Inventory Management:</b></li><li>
Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and tools.</li><li>
Report supply needs weekly and notify management of shortages.</li><li><b>
Safety and Compliance:</b></li><li>
Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations regarding waste disposal.</li><li><b>
Customer Service:</b></li><li>
Greet and assist customers, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.</li><li>
Communication and Teamwork:</li><li>
Collaborate with team members and communicate issues to supervisors.</li><li>
Monitor vehicle status on the whiteboard.</li><li><b>
Quality Control:</b></li><li>
Perform pre/post scanning of vehicles and inform staff of any issues.</li><li><b>
Daily Tasks:</b></li><li>
Attend production meetings by 9 AM using production lists and spreadsheets.</li><li>
Keep the lot clean and safe, removing trash and broken parts.</li><li>
Drive the shop truck for customer pickups/drops and parts runs.</li><li>
Assist detailers and parts coordinators as needed.</li><li><b>
Expectations:</b></li><li>
Arrive on time, maintain cleanliness, and assist others positively.</li><li>
Complete tasks efficiently to contribute to a productive environment.</li><li><b>
Accountability:</b></li><li>
The General Service Technician must own assigned tasks and meet deadlines. Regular performance evaluations will assess adherence to responsibilities. Failure to meet expectations may result in additional training or disciplinary action.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Minimum Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li><b>
Customer Service or Administration Experience:</b> Must have at least 1 year in any customer service or administration related position.</li><li><b>
Organizational Skills:</b> Must be able to work and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions.</li><li><b>
Computer Knowledge &amp; Ability:</b> Must possess a working knowledge of how to use a Windows computer. This includes the ability to type or dictate at least 30 words per minute, operate a cursor, view a computer monitor, operate an email account, and use common office software such as word processing and spreadsheet programs.</li><li><b>
Communication Skills:</b> Must be able to communicate in English fluently, in both verbal and in written form.</li><li><b>
Math Skills: </b>Must possess ability to count. Must know how to perform basic math functions using a calculator.</li><li><b>
Physical Demands:</b> Must be able to lift more than 50lbs without assistance. Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle with passengers. Must be able to walk / stand for 90% of the day. Must be able to work in various weather conditions.</li><li>
