Fix PRO Contracting & General Maintenance

Location: Maldives Reporting To: Accounts ManagerKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Support and assist the Accounts Manager in all day-to-day accounting operations.</li><li>Record and document financial transactions by accurately entering account information and uploading data into XERO, QuickBooks (QB), and ERP systems, as applicable.</li><li>Review and approve all documentation related to Procurement and Inventory processes; identify deviations, provide corrections, and guide concerned personnel accordingly.</li><li>Review, handle, and reconcile petty cash documents, including cash replenishment.</li><li>Perform weekly petty cash reconciliation and ensure accuracy at all times.</li><li>Ensure timely execution of bank payments and perform bank reconciliations in XERO, QB, or ERP systems.</li><li>Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable on a regular basis.</li><li>Maintain stock ledgers and stock sheets and conduct periodic physical inventory counts.</li><li>Prepare and submit monthly stock audit reports to the Accounts Manager.</li><li>Handle client invoicing and ensure timely issuance of receipt vouchers.</li><li>Follow up with clients on outstanding payments and ensure effective collection of receivables.</li><li>Prepare GPS tracker reports by cross-checking Google Calendar entries and submit them to the Accounts Manager by month-end.</li><li>Ensure on-time completion of tasks assigned through GQueues or similar task management systems.</li><li>Assist the finance team in payroll preparation by providing attendance data, deductions, and other required information.</li><li>Maintain summaries of utility bills and submit reports to the Accounts Manager as required.</li><li>Post financial data to ledgers, registers, journals, and logs in accordance with established accounting procedures.</li><li>Secure financial data by completing regular database backups.</li><li>Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing financial information.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of all financial and operational information to protect company interests.</li><li>Perform month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations.</li><li>Maintain an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.</li><li>Carry out any other duties assigned by the direct manager as required.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Weekly bank reconciliation completed accurately and on time.</li><li>Daily petty cash reconciliation with zero discrepancies.</li><li>Timely client invoicing and effective collection of payments.</li><li>Weekly update of accounts receivable listings.</li><li>Monthly physical stock reconciliation and reporting.</li></ul>Desired Profile<ul><li>Strong knowledge of accepted accounting principles and practices.</li><li>Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and financial regulations.</li><li>Proven work experience in an accounting role.</li><li>Basic knowledge of preparing Financial Statements, Profit &amp; Loss reports, and Cash Flow statements.</li><li>Familiarity with payroll processes, including WPS.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of VAT compliance and reporting.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and tools, including XERO, QuickBooks, ERP systems, and MS Office.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.</li><li>Solid understanding of double-entry accounting and best accounting practices.</li><li>Proven ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.</li><li>Highly organized, with the ability to maintain documentation in line with company policies.</li><li>Positive attitude toward learning and teamwork.</li><li>Experience handling supplier invoices and client billing processes.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications.</li><li>Company-provided food and accommodation in the Maldives.</li><li>Other benefits as per company policy.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>
