Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at Flaherty &amp; Collins Properties, you&rsquo;ll have the chance to showcase your skills, tackle a variety of tasks, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.
What You'll Do: 
<ul><li>Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring all property systems and equipment are in excellent working condition.</li><li>
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems as needed.</li><li>
Address and resolve resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.</li><li>
Conduct property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.</li><li>
Ensure the property meets safety standards and complies with applicable regulations.</li><li>
Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.</li><li>
Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are move-in ready for new residents.</li><li>
Respond to emergency maintenance issues, including after-hours calls when necessary.</li></ul>
What Makes You a Great Fit: 
<ul><li>You have a high school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
HVAC/EPA certifications or similar credentials are a plus, along with a willingness to learn and grow.</li><li>
You have hands-on experience in maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re a team player who communicates effectively and works well with others.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re detail-oriented and take pride in delivering high-quality work.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re proactive and enjoy solving problems with practical solutions.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re dependable and flexible, ready to handle after-hours or weekend emergencies when needed.</li></ul>
