Basic Description:
The candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities for Flat Branch Home Loans. Success will be achieved through appointment setting, hitting revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries (usually in the form of sales leads) and cold calling. This candidate is required to work locally in one of our Columbia, MO locations; it is not available as a remote position.
Primary duties include outbound lead generated calling, e-mail communication, taking pre-qualification applications, and overall management of sales pipeline through the sales cycle.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Pass the National NMLS test and obtain an NMLS license and the required state licensing.</li><li>
Inside sales agents will be responsible for outbound calling and responding to inbound sales inquiries to meet with clients who are interested in starting the prequalification process for a mortgage.</li><li>
Become an expert on the evolving Lead Generated environment in Mortgage Lending and a unique value proposition to prospective clients and skillfully handle and overcome objections</li><li>
Maintain rigorous prospecting for new business and equally rigorous follow up with leads in your pipeline</li><li>
Take complete pre-qualification applications and move customers to obtain a pre-qualification letter for making offers on homes.</li><li>
Understand and adhere to local, state, and federal laws regarding Mortgage Lending</li><li>
Accurately track and convey productivity and sales metrics to management and expect regular accountability meetings with direct manager and company owner.</li><li>
Participate in regular training and education requirements</li><li>
Other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Requirements:

Qualifications &amp; Skills:<ul><li>
Passion for selling</li><li>
Enthusiastic self-starting approach</li><li>
Must obtain current necessary license</li><li>
Demonstrable record of sales success against quota: commit fully to achieving and exceeding significant daily, weekly and monthly productivity and sales quotas</li><li>
Knowledge and experience in calling Leads</li><li>
Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills</li><li>
Extremely strong phone skills: ability to set and close appointments over the phone</li><li>
Be a phone animal: willingness and ability to spend 80 to 90% of workday on the phone</li><li>
Ability to use or quickly learn Microsoft Office Suite, Big Purple Dot, specific CRM and marketing technology, Multiple Listing Service and other technologies as needed</li><li>
Be a team player who thrives working with a tight knit company where their activities directly affect the bottom line.</li><li>
Experience required in calling Mortgage leads and understanding of loan programs</li><li>
Expectation of Lead Assigned to Contact Rate at or above 60%</li><li>
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer with flexibility of 1-2 hours work on weekends</li></ul></div>
