 As a Junior Graphic Designer at FlexPoint Media, you will have the exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of campaign, advertising and digital content at all levels. Based in our Virginia office, the Graphic Designer will design high-end persuasion advertising and digital content across multiple clients, ranging from campaigns to issue-based advocacy groups. This is a full-time position with FlexPoint.
 
 
 We are looking for someone who is imaginative, innovative, and driven by a passion for finding creative solutions to big problems. The perfect candidate is someone who is not afraid to challenge themselves and push the envelope, setting big goals, and finding new ways to take advantage of the ever-expanding digital space.
 
 
 To be qualified for this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of digital-first graphic design experience with a portfolio that demonstrates strength in typography, web design, or social media motion graphics. You must also be comfortable receiving feedback. It&rsquo;s a major bonus if you aren&rsquo;t afraid to wear multiple hats on a growing team.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Designing high quality graphics, utilizing our clients&rsquo; branding, and executing our content strategy
 </li>
 <li>
 Identifying creative campaign solutions and developing them from start to finish
 </li>
 <li>
 Teaming up with colleagues to brainstorm concepts and copy, and providing the best solutions to solve the client&rsquo;s problems
 </li>
 <li>
 Attending project kick-off and status meetings internally and participating in client meetings as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinating with other designers to ensure deliverables meet campaign goals, brand standards, and firm quality expectations
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 At least 2 year of experience in the design field, with exposure to graphic design, web design, and/or visual arts
 </li>
 <li>
 Full proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent design sense, including composition, color, and typography
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work in a very fast-paced, collaborative production environment
 </li>
 <li>
 A pulse on the design world with an interest in what works and what looks best
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior political experience or at least an interest in and knowledge of politics is a plus

 About The Role
 
 
 
 As a Junior Graphic Designer at FlexPoint Media, you will have the exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the visual identity of campaign, advertising and digital content at all levels. Working closely with the Creative Director and Digital Team, you will contribute your creativity and design skills to produce compelling graphics that resonate with target audiences and support our clients&rsquo; objectives. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about the ever-expanding digital space and interested in the intersection of politics and visual communication.
 
 
 Salary will match experience and skill level. This role is in-person. Local or willing-to-relocate candidates only.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities Will Include

 Designing high quality graphics, utilizing our clients&rsquo; branding, and executing our content strategy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to the creative process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with other designers and strategists to conceptualize and execute visually engaging designs for various campaigns, including digital ads, social media graphics, merchandise, and more.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attending project kick-off and status meetings internally and participating in client meetings as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay up-to-date with design trends, political developments, and competitor strategies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our designs.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 1-3 years of work experience in graphic design, and/or a related field (Internships can count)
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) &ndash; familiarity with web design programs a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong portfolio showcasing creative and well-executed design work, preferably including examples related to political or advocacy campaigns.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively present and discuss design concepts and collaborate with team members and clients.
