The Opportunity</h1>
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineer with a deep understanding of Golang, distributed backend systems, and PostgreSQL. To be right for this role, you should be a &ldquo;manager of one&rdquo; who excels both individually and on a team. This role involves architecture, backend Go development, and honing the integrity and performance of a PostgreSQL database where Go services are not the only clients. And because we&rsquo;re a fully remote team, you should be an excellent writer and asynchronous communicator.
As a senior member of our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to build performant, reliable backend systems, contribute to architectural discussions, and deliver features that matter.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing and scaling production-grade Go applications, building microservices and APIs, and tuning systems for high performance and reliability.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Director of Product Security &amp; Privacy to oversee our entire product lines from hardware to software. This role will be responsible for ensuring security and privacy is engrained in the research, design, and development of all products and services. This includes hardware design, software (firmware, applications, mobile, cloud). This is a player coach role so you will be expected to get in the weeds with your team and peers. This role reports directly to our CISO.<ul><li>
Establish and execute a comprehensive long-term vision and strategy for Product Security, AppSec, and Privacy Engineering across all product lines.</li><li>
Lead the Product Security Review process, including threat modeling, security architecture reviews, and penetration testing oversight for new and existing features.</li><li>
Define and enforce Security and Privacy standards and policies within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>
Partner with Legal and GRC teams to translate evolving privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) into engineering requirements and best practices.</li><li>
Drive incident response and vulnerability management processes for all product-related issues.</li><li>

The Opportunity
As an Analytics Engineer you will own end-to-end analytics solutions from definition, to data architecture, to data visualization, with the goal of stream lining single source of truth insights for our business in an analytics as code environment. It is your job to possess radical ownership, drive impact to our business stakeholders, and walk the line between a technical owner and business partner.
The Skillset<ul><li>
BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field, or equivalent industry experience.</li><li>
5+ years of proven experience as an analytics engineer, business intelligence engineer, or data analyst.</li><li>

The Opportunity
As Flock Safety continues to scale, we are strategically expanding our internal construction capabilities to reduce reliance on external vendors and drive operational efficiency.
We are seeking additional multi-state General Contractors to serve as qualifying agents and primary construction subject matter experts, expanding our in-house licensing portfolio and enabling Flock to self-perform complex installations that were previously outsourced. By holding and maintaining General Contractor licenses in key states, you will directly contribute to lowering deployment costs, improving installation quality, and shortening project timelines. You will partner with Legal, Field Operations, and Strategy teams to build a robust internal construction framework that supports our nationwide growth. This role may be structured as part-time, with an expected commitment of approximately 10-40 hours per week, depending on portfolio size.
The Skillset<ul><li>
Active General Contractor License: Must hold an active commercial General Contractor license (or equivalent unlimited builder classification) in at least one US state.</li><li>
Priority states: Strong preference for candidates who are licensed in, or willing to obtain licensure in, one or more of the following: Arkansas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, West Virginia. Flock will cover all reasonable fees for new applications, reciprocity, renewals, and required continuing education.</li><li>
Qualifying Agent Status: Must be willing and able to act as the legally qualifying individual (QI/QA) for Flock Safety on state and local licenses to enable self-performance of work.</li><li>
Construction Code Expertise: Deep working knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC) and local amendments, specifically regarding structural foundations, wind load calculations, and right-of-way construction.</li><li>
Cost Reduction Mindset: Proven experience shifting work from third-party GCs or subs to in-house teams where appropriate, with a track record of quantifiable cost savings and schedule improvements</li><li>
Permitting Strategy: Ability to work with Permitting Teams to determine the proper path to permitting given varying state and local zoning and construction requirements.</li><li>
Safety &amp; Compliance: Directs safety programs for construction/civil work within operations and ensures proper safety precautions are followed by internal crews.</li><li>
Travel: Ability to travel as needed to onboard, train, and quality-check installation teams.</li></ul>

Salary &amp; Equity
In this role, you&rsquo;ll receive a starting salary based on the number of state licenses in your portfolio, as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
