Job Summary:The Procurement &amp; Supply Chain Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, supply chain coordination, logistics follow-up, inventory receiving, and financial analysis related to purchasing. The role requires strong accounting and finance knowledge, including invoice issuance, system reporting, and advanced Excel analysis. The position plays a key role in landing cost analysis, budgeting, procurement planning, and ensuring accurate stock receiving and documentation in alignment with company operations in the FMCG/HORECA sector.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement &amp; Purchasing<ul><li>Manage local and international procurement activities in line with company requirements.</li><li>Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.</li><li>Prepare purchase orders and follow up on supplier confirmations.</li><li>Coordinate procurement planning based on sales forecasts and stock levels.</li><li>Maintain supplier records, pricing agreements, and procurement documentation.</li></ul>Supply Chain &amp; Logistics<ul><li>Coordinate inbound shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents.</li><li>Follow up on shipping schedules, delivery timelines, and customs clearance.</li><li>Ensure all shipment documents are accurate and complete (invoice, packing list, COO, health certificate, etc.).</li><li>Monitor logistics costs and optimize transportation and clearance expenses.</li><li>Coordinate warehouse deliveries and stock handover.</li></ul>Accounting, Finance &amp; System Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and maintain landing cost analysis for all imported and local shipments.</li><li>Analyze procurement costs, logistics costs, duties, and overheads.</li><li>Support budgeting, cost planning, and financial forecasting for procurement activities.</li><li>Prepare cost comparison, variance, and profitability analysis reports.</li><li>Issue sales and purchase invoices accurately.</li><li>Use Zoho (Invoices / Accounting) for invoicing, reporting, and financial tracking.</li><li>Coordinate with the Finance team on supplier payments, cost allocation, and reconciliations.</li><li>Ensure financial data related to procurement and logistics is accurately recorded and reported.</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Stock Control<ul><li>Oversee stock receiving, verification, and reconciliation against shipment documents.</li><li>Ensure accurate recording of received quantities, batch numbers, and expiry dates.</li><li>Coordinate stock updates with the warehouse and system records.</li><li>Support stock audits and inventory reporting.</li><li>Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to support procurement planning.</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Planning<ul><li>Prepare procurement, logistics, inventory, and cost analysis reports.</li><li>Provide detailed analysis reports to management (landing cost, margins, procurement performance, stock status).</li><li>Support management with data-driven procurement and purchasing decisions.</li><li>Utilize advanced Excel tools (formulas, pivot tables, analysis sheets) to support studies and reports.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in supply chain management, accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, and financial analysis.</li><li>Strong accounting and finance knowledge is mandatory.</li><li>Proven experience in landing cost calculations, budgeting, invoicing, and reporting.</li><li>Hands-on experience using Zoho (Invoices / Accounting) or similar ERP systems.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for studies, cost models, and analysis.</li><li>Knowledge of import/export procedures and FMCG/HORECA supply chains.</li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).</li><li>Experience in the Bahrain market and regulations is preferred.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Procurement &amp; supplier negotiation</li><li>Supply chain &amp; logistics coordination</li><li>Accounting &amp; finance knowledge</li><li>Landing cost &amp; margin analysis</li><li>Budgeting &amp; forecasting</li><li>Inventory &amp; stock management</li><li>Zoho system &amp; Excel reporting</li><li>Analytical &amp; problem-solving skills</li></ul>Employment Type:Full-timeWork Location:BahrainJob Type: Full-timePay: BD500.000 - BD600.000 per month
