At Volody, we are transforming how legal and compliance teams operate using intelligent automation and cutting-edge technology.Position Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of accounting principles, hands-on experience with financial reporting, audits, and compliance, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, managing tax filings, supporting strategic financial planning, and ensuring regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IND-AS/IFRS/GAAP).</li><li>Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and internal audits.</li><li>Ensure timely filing of tax returns including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.</li><li>Monitor and analyze accounting data, and produce financial reports or statements.</li><li>Support budgeting and forecasting processes.</li><li>Assist in evaluating and implementing accounting software, automation tools, or ERP systems.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and corporate policies.</li><li>Lead and mentor junior accountants and finance team members as needed.</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, HR, Sales) for financial alignment.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA / CMA preferred.</li><li>4&ndash;6+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.</li><li>Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).</li><li>Advanced MS Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).</li><li>Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with IND-AS or IFRS reporting.</li><li>Hands-on experience in scaling finance processes in a startup or high-growth environment.</li><li>Familiarity with contract accounting or legal tech industry is a plus.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;600,000.00 - &#8377;800,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
