FlowConnect combines AI, collaboration, network data, and operational tooling for manufacturers, reps, distributors, and associations. We're looking for a Senior Lead Engineer who can own major parts of this platform, lead a team, and help define what the future of industrial B2B SaaS looks like.What You&rsquo;ll Do1. Lead Architecture &amp; System Design<ul><li>Own architecture for a large-scale, multi-tenant B2B SaaS platform.</li><li>Make key decisions around Next.js (frontend) and Nest.JS (backend) with strong opinions on clean, consistent patterns.</li><li>Ensure scalability, high-performance data flows, and clean boundaries between services (auth, real-time messaging, market directory, AI workflows, etc.).</li></ul>2. Guide a Team of Engineers<ul><li>Provide code reviews that make junior and mid-level engineers better without slowing them down.</li><li>Establish engineering standards, patterns, and documentation that keep the codebase clean and predictable.</li><li>Collaborate with international teams (U.S., Paraguay, Pakistan, etc.) and maintain high output and accountability.</li></ul>3. Work Directly With Customers &amp; Product<ul><li>Join customer discovery calls to understand workflows and pain points.</li><li>Translate real customer language into product requirements, lightweight specs, and actionable engineering tasks.</li><li>Make sure what we build matches what customers actually need.</li></ul>4. Deliver Features End-to-End<ul><li>Work across the full stack to build high-quality product features and internal tools.</li><li>Own the delivery timeline &mdash; plan, break down work, and ensure the team ships on schedule.</li><li>Help design UI/UX alongside product for clarity, speed, and professional polish.</li></ul>5. Integrate AI in Real Workflows<ul><li>Use agentic AI tools (Claude Code, GPT-5 Agents, etc.) to improve speed and code quality.</li><li>Help architect AI-driven modules like FlowBot, agent orchestration, document parsing, and knowledge retrieval.</li><li>Understand embeddings, RAG, message buses, workflow engines, and how AI fits into a real production system.</li></ul>Tech Stack You&rsquo;ll Work InYou don&rsquo;t need every single one, but you must be fully fluent in the star components:Core<ul><li>Next.js (App Router, server components, streaming, performance patterns)</li><li>Nest.JS (modular monolith structure, dependency injection, providers, guards, interceptors)</li><li>PostgreSQL / Drizzle ORM / Neon</li></ul>AI / Agentic Tools<ul><li>Claude Code / GPT-5 agents</li><li>LangChain or equivalent</li><li>Vector DBs (Qdrant, Pinecone)</li><li>Retrieval and workflow orchestration</li></ul>Who You AreThis is not a junior or mid-level role.
