Overview 
The Commercial HVAC Installation Technician is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems in large commercial and government settings. This role ensures that HVAC systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards while delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service. Due to special project work, candidate MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR LONG-TERM, OVERNIGHT TRAVEL ON A REGULAR BASIS. Overtime + Travel Pay and Potential Pay Rate Scales are added benefits for this role. 


Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Install HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, rooftop units (RTUs), and mini-splits</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan and execute installations</li>
<li>Assemble, mount, and secure HVAC components, ensuring proper alignment and operation</li>
<li>Connect electrical wiring, piping, ducting, and refrigerant lines according to manufacturer specifications and local codes</li>
<li>Test installed systems for proper operation, efficiency, and safety</li>
<li>Diagnose and troubleshoot installation issues, and adjust as needed</li>
<li>Ensure all work areas are clean and safe during and after installations</li>
<li>Communicate clearly with customers regarding system operation, maintenance, and warranty information</li>
<li>Collaborate with team members, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate project completion</li>
<li>Follow all OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards</li>
<li>Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working order</li></ul> 


Qualifications
MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR LONG-TERM, OVERNIGHT TRAVEL ON A REGULAR BASIS FOR PROJECT WORK.
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3-5 years of HVAC installation experience</li>
<li>Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals</li>
<li>Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude</li>
<li>HVAC Certification [Technical school certification preferred]</li>
<li>EPA Certification a plus</li>
<li>Valid Driver's License with ability to pass company's MVR requirements 
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly and adhere to all safety guidelines</li>
<li>Familiarity with building codes, HVAC equipment manufacturers, and industry standards</li></ul>
