 Overview:
 
 
 
 We are seeking an experienced procurement and sales professional to support the expansion of cannabis extraction operations in New York State. This role is responsible for sourcing large volumes of biomass, developing long-term partnerships with cultivators and producers, and selling extracted oil to wholesale buyers. The ideal candidate has deep experience in wholesale cannabis transactions, understands the extraction supply chain, and brings an extensive network of industry connections across the state.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Source and secure a consistent monthly supply of biomass from licensed cultivators, farmers, and producers in NY.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain strong relationships with cultivation partners through frequent farm visits, site tours, and ongoing engagement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage procurement contracts and negotiate favorable terms to ensure reliability of supply.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive oil sales to established wholesale buyers, ensuring consistent revenue streams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with leadership to align procurement and sales efforts with overall operational and production goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay informed on market trends, pricing, and regulatory developments impacting biomass sourcing and oil sales.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a trusted partner to both suppliers and buyers, fostering long-term strategic relationships.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 5+ years of experience in cannabis wholesale, procurement, or related sectors (extraction, cultivation, distribution).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to source and manage large-scale biomass transactions
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong sales acumen with demonstrated success selling cannabis oil or similar products into the wholesale market.
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive network of relationships within the NY cannabis cultivation and production community.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently, travel frequently across NY, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Preferred Skills:

 Knowledge of cannabis extraction processes and supply chain dynamics.

 Experience structuring high-value contracts and long-term supplier agreements.
