Our Flowserve Supply Chain team is currently seeking a student for our ongoing internship program.
Responsibilities:
The candidate should be self-motivated, have strong written and verbal communications skills, be able to manage their time efficiently and work well both individually and in a team environment. Candidates should be in their junior or senior year within the Haworth College of Business majoring in Supply Chain Management. Also considered candidates may be majoring in Engineering with interest in Supply Chain. The ideal candidate would be available to start immediately working 20-25 hours per week during school and up to 40 hours during summer. Intern duties may include but are not limited to:

Supply Chain Intern

<div>Role Summary:
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for running the sourcing events as requested upon them from the Sites or BU&rsquo;s and received through the appropriate system workflows. The overall focus of the role is to manage the complete RFQ/RFP process and to select the most appropriate supplier for the intended scope of work based on Safety, Quality, Delivery &amp; Cost parameters and aligned with the global category strategy.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Execute the sourcing events on behalf of the Sites/BU&rsquo;s as defined by the system workflows in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value offering for Flowserve with respect to the scope of work and Site/BU needs; balancing Quality, Delivery and Cost. This includes any specific flowdowns or contractual terms relative to a specific scope.</li>
<li>Where applicable, finalize contractual agreements such as Price Lists or Teaming Agreements per the specific scope of supply and ensure they are loaded appropriately within the applicable tools/ERPs.</li>

<li>Comply with the sourcing strategy as set forth by the Global Category Management function; including focusing spend on Partner &amp; Preferred suppliers.</li>
<li>Create and expedite any new supplier requests / supplier changes as required to support the BU operations through the MDG-Supplier process.</li>
<li>Identify any specific supply/supplier risks as it pertains to the managed scope and elevate them through the appropriate process/hierarchy.</li>
<li>Support Commercial Operations for any supply chain quotes required to support tender activities.</li>

Coordinator

Role summary:
The Business Development Manager (m/f/t) EMA for Aftermarket drives regional growth for Flowserve&rsquo;s valve service business across Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
