Role Summary
The Sourcing Specialist is responsible executing the Purchase Orders, from Placement to Goods/Invoice Receipt.
The overall focus of the role is to manage the complete Purchase Order process; including placing and managing the Purchase Orders whilst ensuring any back-end issues regarding invoice and good receipt discrepancies are addressed.
The role will also be required to conduct sourcing activities for specific defined scopes for their names site that are not covered by the Sourcing Specialist role.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Execution of Just in Time principles in the supply of all material required for the complete manufacturing of the facility projects.</li>
<li>Negotiate the best prices and commercial conditions to ensure best supply of components maximizing the profit.</li>
<li>Support the service centers at customer quotation stage to achieve the best quotations to ensure a competitive advantage edge on pricing and delivery terms.</li>
<li>Follow up on orders placed to ensure on time delivery on both external suppliers and intercompany orders.</li>
<li>Proactively identify and resolve any issues with the importing processes of goods to the local service center as well as coordination and problem solving for fulfilling contractual deliveries.</li>
<li>Setting up supply agreements with key suppliers to ensure preferential pricing and delivery.</li>
<li>Review of stock levels to ensure optimal inventory is held on site.</li>

<div>Role Summary:
The Sr. Project Engineer for Compressor Retrofits is the Technical Leader on the projects where legacy sealing technologies for compressors and other turbomachines are upgraded to advanced seals and auxiliary systems.
The turbomachines operate in various services, including Gas Pipelines, Refineries, Injection Services, Chemical, Petro-Chemical and other Process Plants, etc. The scope of a Retrofit Project may include the shaft seal (dry or wet, including separation seals and labyrinths) and the seal system (control skid, conditioning skid and individual components, like heaters, filters, boosters, etc.). The scope may also cover supervision of turnkey services by specialized project partners for the turbomachinery overhaul and modification (rotor and/or stator), electrical and civils works, seal and system removal and installation, turbomachinery shutdown and commissioning.
Your Role:
<ul><li>Lead field related activities including site surveys.</li>
<li>Interact with the project manager, and a network of discipline engineers, designers, field and shop technicians on testing procedures, seal fitment, installation tooling, rotor dynamic analysis, seal and system design and documentation, electrical, turbomachinery and package engineering.</li>
<li>Resolve discrepancies and contradictions on the interfaces between the project phases of Engineering, Manufacturing &amp; Procurement, Pre-shutdown, Shutdown and Commissioning.</li>
<li>Sign off critical project milestones, such as Engineering, Release to Manufacturing, Factory Acceptance Testing, Installation, Commissioning, and Start-up.</li>
<li>Prepare, deliver and maintain the key project documentation.</li>
<li>Provide on-demand technical support, lead quality or performance issue resolution and identify spin-off retrofit opportunities after the Project close-out.</li>
<li>Act as a consultant to the front-end teams (incl. Sales) on soliciting new projects, incl. application review, scope and solution refinement.</li>
</ul>Your Profile:
<ul><li>Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical): B.Sc. or M.Sc.</li>
<li>Experience with either hydraulic or pneumatic systems: piping/tubing &amp; valves.</li>

<li>Experience with field engineering services.</li>
