We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that supports your professional growth while offering meaningful opportunities to make a difference every day.Duties<ul><li>Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, including, pleadings, written discovery, and other correspondences, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.</li><li>Manage legal case files and document management systems, maintaining organized records for easy retrieval and review.</li><li>Support case benchmarks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling internal meetings, and tracking case progress.</li><li>Conduct interviews and/or intakes with clients or witnesses to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases or investigations to support attorney.</li><li>Facilitate communication within the law office through professional phone etiquette, clerical support, and administrative assistance to ensure seamless operations.</li><li>Notarizing pleadings and necessary documents as necessary. Must obtain notary certification within 30 days of hiring.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a Paralegal with a strong background in family law and personal injury law, including pre-suit.</li><li>Expertise in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with legal research methodologies is a plus.</li><li>Proficiency in document management systems such as iManage and Clio; experience with GSuite is a plus.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents, reports, and correspondence that are clear, concise, and professional.</li><li>Effective proofreading and transcription abilities to ensure error-free documentation.</li><li>Experience supporting law office administrative functions including filing, data entry, clerical tasks, and maintaining filing systems.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrated through interviewing clients or witnesses with professionalism and sensitivity.</li></ul>Expected hours: 32.0 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you able to work in person, in Stuart, FL 3-4 days per week? </li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Family law: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Personal injury law: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
