</h3>The Supply Chain Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the continuity, cost, quality, or delivery performance of the supply chain. This role drives proactive risk governance, develops risk mitigation strategies, leads cross-functional risk assessments, and partners with suppliers, procurement, operations, logistics, and quality teams to ensure a resilient and compliant supply chain.
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Key Responsibilities
</h3>1. Risk Identification &amp; Assessment
<ul><li>Conduct end-to-end supply chain risk assessments covering suppliers, logistics, materials, compliance, geopolitical factors, and market dynamics.
</li><li>Maintain a comprehensive risk register with clear classification (operational, financial, strategic, compliance, ESG, etc.).
</li><li>Evaluate supplier financial stability, capacity risks, regulatory exposure, and business continuity capabilities.
</li><li>Perform scenario planning, stress testing, and impact analysis.
</li></ul>2. Risk Mitigation &amp; Continuity Planning
<ul><li>Develop and implement mitigation strategies such as dual-sourcing, safety stock optimization, alternate suppliers, and logistics contingencies.
</li><li>Lead creation and execution of Supplier Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
</li><li>Partner with procurement and category managers to embed risk controls in supplier selection and contracting.
</li></ul>3. Monitoring &amp; Reporting
<ul><li>Build dashboards and KPIs for continuous monitoring of supply chain vulnerabilities and performance.
</li><li>Track risks using tools such as Supplier Risk Ratings, Heat Maps, and Early Warning Indicators.
</li><li>Report risk exposure, trends, and mitigation progress to leadership and key stakeholders.
</li></ul>4. Compliance &amp; Governance
<ul><li>Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (ESG, cybersecurity, quality, export controls, etc.).
</li><li>Lead supply chain audits, supplier assessments, and risk governance reviews.
</li><li>Develop risk policies, procedures, and training materials for cross-functional teams.
</li></ul>5. Supplier &amp; Cross-Functional Collaboration
<ul><li>Work closely with suppliers to improve risk maturity, resilience, and transparency.
</li><li>Partner with procurement, quality, logistics, manufacturing, finance, sustainability, and legal teams.
</li><li>Lead risk response during supply disruptions, shortages, or crisis situations.
</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Qualifications
</h3>Education
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
</li><li>Master&rsquo;s degree or certification preferred (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma, CIPS).

Job Description:
<ul><li>This role will be directly involved in the Sustaining hardware engineering team in charge of the Support, Modification(customization) , upgrade activities and product stabilization activities..
</li></ul><ul><li>Translate custom project requirements into system requirements (and respective sub-system/component derivative requirement) within our system of record, PLM, and issue bill of materials to supply chain while meeting requirements for environmental conditions, maintainability, reliability, long lifetime, and cost.
</li><li>Closely work with Product development team - Design engineers from electrical and non-electrical technology domain, Program managers, product manager, Requisition team and other stakeholders.
</li><li>Collaborative work with global stake holders, Cross functional teams and delivering key results.
</li><li>Lead BESS Enclosure Electrical System design- Power system architecture design, Electrical design calculation, Electrical protection coordination, Electrical equipment (Circuit breaker, UPS, Fuse, Disconnector etc.) selections.
</li><li>Perform cable selection and cable scheduling for Battery Energy storage system.
</li><li>Perform Electrical Power System simulation in MATLAB, ETAP, support in BESS plant electrical core design
</li></ul><ul><li>Create and/or facilitate project specific commissioning documentation
</li><li>Update existing technical specifications for equipment procurement and/or technical annexes to contract documents.
</li><li>Execute the analysis, or evaluation of assigned issues using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
</li><li>Perform Issue Root Cause Analysis and support change management based on specified system performance and feedback from project commissioning and services teams.
</li><li>Provide technical consultation to other departments and colleagues.
</li><li>Contribute to hands-on testing of functionality and interoperation of solar + storage system components (inverters, DC/DC converters, controls, battery systems and balance of plant hardware) and integrated commercial systems.
</li><li>Collaborate with Product engineering team and subsystem suppliers on modifications or improvements to their products to ensure optimal integration with Fluence system design.

</li></ul>Skills Required: 
 
<ul><li>The preferred candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, power systems, or controls systems and product development in the power conversion and/or renewables space, a minimum of a graduate degree and 8-10 years of work experience. Salary is commensurate with experience. Experience with solar and/or energy storage is strongly preferred.
</li><li>Electrical engineering, controls engineering, and/or product development experience with energy storage, PV systems, microgrids, or other integrated DC/AC electrical systems
</li><li>Familiarity with DC/AC and DC/DC converter operation; some experience designing, or modeling power conversion devices is a plus
</li><li>Knowledge of utility grid interconnection standards, such as UL/IEEE standards, USA local grid codes, or European grid codes would be beneficial
</li><li>Familiarity with NEC , NESC and IEC design and construction practices
</li><li>Experience with NFPA 70E training and recommended practices
</li><li>Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams of various internal and external stakeholders
</li><li>Has excellent English verbal and writing skills, additional languages or international work experience is a plus.
</li><li>Willing and able to travel, domestically and internationally, approximately 50% of the time

Role Overview
The Contracts Counsel will have a front-line role in negotiating, drafting and administering Fluence&rsquo;s contracts with customers and suppliers. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the complex commercial arrangements of a global organization and the Legal Department.
Key Responsibilities
As Contracts Counsel you will have the following responsibilities on any given day:
<ul><li>In collaboration with Sales and Commercial Finance Management, you will help negotiate equipment sale agreements, EPC contracts, long-term services agreements, software agreements (SaaS), procurement agreements, and a variety of other commercial arrangements.
</li><li>You will have a lead role in drafting the aforementioned contracts, with assistance from the commercial, technical and other legal personnel involved in each project.
</li><li>You will provide support for the documentation involved in making commercial offers and RFP responses.
</li><li>You will help to create, manage and update the company&rsquo;s contract templates and provide input to risk profiles.
</li><li>You will assist in the handover of projects from the contracting team to the implementation team, by properly assembling, archiving and summarizing the documents.
</li><li>Most Fluence people wear multiple hats. On any given day you might provide overflow legal support on a variety of topics including claims and disputes. Nobody at Fluence says &ldquo;that&rsquo;s not my job!&rdquo;
</li></ul>Qualifications
<ul><li>You are responsible, agile, leading and fun. (Hint: these are Fluence&rsquo;s core values, and we mean it. Seriously.)
</li><li>You have a minimum of 5 years (preferably 7+ years) experience as a front-line negotiator for complex commercial transactions. A meaningful of amount of that experience has involved sitting &ldquo;first chair&rdquo; in contract negotiations. You enjoy boring your family and friends with your vast knowledge of payment terms, logistics, warranty clauses and liability limitations.
</li><li>You have a minimum of 5 years (preferably 7+ years) experience drafting complex commercial contracts. You eat contracts for breakfast and can write them in your sleep.
</li><li>You preferably bring experience in industrial equipment, construction or utility projects. If your experience comes from the renewable energy or energy storage sector including any experience with EPC contracts, we might think you are very fancy indeed. However, we care more about your ninja-like contracting skills than what industry or position you come from.
</li><li>You have excellent judgment, both in business and interpersonal matters, except you like lawyers. People sometimes tell you &ldquo;Wow, I didn&rsquo;t know lawyers could be cool.&rdquo;
