FM Acoustical Tile, Inc. has maintained a reputation for quality with both customers and employees since 1967. As a result, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Project Coordinator/Cost Estimator with 4+ years of experience in the commercial construction sector to support our growing opportunities. This is a Full-time position (40-50 hours / Week)<br>
</p><p><b>Position Overview:</b><br>
A combination of both Project Estimating &amp; Project Manager. You will meet regularly with another Senior Project Estimator / Project Manager to balance the workload and cover each other's time off. You&rsquo;ll work closely with a Field Manager, a Material Manager, and our Bookkeeper to keep our jobs moving smoothly through our system. You will be the primary contact for our contractor customers, for preparing Bidding / Change Orders / Coordination Drawings / Submittals / Job Labor Requirements / Resolve Unforeseen Issues / Punchlist and Closeout Paperwork. When our customers reach out by phone or in person, it is vital to be available to them.<br>
</p><div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br>
<ul><li>Review blueprints and specifications to prepare cost estimates and takeoffs</li><li>Coordinate procurement, submittals, and scheduling with vendors and field teams</li><li>Track project budgets and timelines</li><li>Maintain organized records of bids and proposals</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal staff</li></ul><br>
</div><p><b>Compensation:</b><br>
Pay Range: $90,000 &ndash; $125,000+ annually, depending on experience<br>

Preferred Qualifications:
</b><br>
<ul><li>4 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or commercial construction</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret construction documents</li><li>Experience with takeoff software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Plan Swift) is a plus</li><li>Effective time management and prioritizing tasks without supervision</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook</li><li>Self-driven and team-oriented with strong communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently once trained.</li><li>Sound judgement and decision-making skills.</li></ul><br>
</div><div><b>Working Conditions:</b><br>
<ul><li>Primarily office setting</li><li>Sit for long periods of time at a computer station.</li><li>Jobsite Visits and Coordination Meetings as needed.</li></ul><br>
</div><div><b>Educational and Experience Requirements:</b><br>
<ul><li>4 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or commercial construction</li><li>Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>On-site training is available to adapt your skills to our Trade.</li></ul></div><p>
