Established in 1974, FMF Racing has nearly vertical manufacturing at our factory located in north Long Beach-Rancho Dominguez.Job Overview:We are seeking a key individual to add to our management team to ensure efficient, high-quality, and safe production processes by managing operations, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing manufacturing workflow.Primary Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate manufacturing processes to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and high-quality production. Core responsibilities include:&middot; Production Oversight: Monitor and manage the daily production flow through equipment, processes, and labor to maintain efficiency, quality, accuracy, and safety in production.&middot; Resource Allocation: Identify the needs and deficiencies with machinery, materials, and labor.&middot; Process Improvement: Research, develop, and implement new processes, equipment, and products to provide decision-making information through observation and analysis for improving output, reducing waste, saving time, and lowering cost.&middot; Quality Control / Quality Assurance: Implement and proactively engage to improve production output and consistency. Prepare measurable analytics for reporting.&middot; Resource Management: Research, develop and implement solutions to remedy production delays and inefficiencies.&middot; Collaboration: Engage with R&amp;D and Engineering for the roll out of new products, processes, materials, and machinery.&middot; Safety Compliance: Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment and products comply with current safety regulations and legal requirements.Required Qualifications:&middot; Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience in a manufacturing environment.&middot; Experience in analyzing processes and production flow with respect to resources and labor.&middot; Ability to recognize, assess and remedy problems on-the-fly.&middot; Proficient in Office 365, working knowledge of Windows.&middot; Communication skills with various levels of staffing with professional and amicable demeanor.Preferred Qualifications:&middot; Solid metal fabrication experience.&middot; Experience in machining, stamping, tube bending, welding, robotics are all highly favored.&middot; Experience with ERP software for managing work order routers within work centers.&middot; Having a self-starter, can-do attitude.&middot; Bilingual, English and Spanish.Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday, *overtime 2:30-4:30pm when requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyEducation:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Manufacturing management: 5 years (Required)</li><li>Metal fabrication: 5 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Compton, CA 90221 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
