With a portfolio spanning over 50 Crores in annual turnover, the company prides itself on precision execution, cost optimization, and design excellence delivered through a dedicated and innovative team of professionals.Position OverviewThe Manager &ndash; Estimation &amp; Tendering will be responsible for leading the complete tendering, estimation, and bid management process for interior fit-out projects. This role involves strategic pricing, technical evaluation, cost control, vendor negotiations, and coordination across departments to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions that align with company profitability goals.The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, commercially sharp, and have a deep understanding of fit-out project costing and execution methodology.Key Responsibilities1. Tendering &amp; Bid Management<ul><li>Lead the end-to-end tendering process for private and government projects.</li><li>Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Evaluate project scope, risks, and opportunities prior to bid submission.</li><li>Prepare detailed tender checklists, ensure compliance with all submission requirements.</li><li>Strategize bid pricing and ensure competitive, value-engineered proposals.</li></ul>2. Estimation &amp; Cost Analysis<ul><li>Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for turnkey interior fit-out works including civil, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, and finishes.</li><li>Develop rate analysis based on project drawings, quantities, and market inputs.</li><li>Benchmark and maintain cost databases for materials, labor, and subcontractors.</li><li>Collaborate with design and execution teams for technical feasibility and cost optimization.</li><li>Support project budgeting and feasibility studies for new opportunities.</li></ul>3. Vendor &amp; Subcontractor Coordination<ul><li>Float RFQs to vendors and subcontractors; analyze and evaluate quotations.</li><li>Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive cost advantages.</li><li>Build and maintain a reliable vendor database with updated material and labor rates.</li><li>Assess vendor technical competence and past performance.</li></ul>4. Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions with supporting documents.</li><li>Review and compile pre-qualification documents, presentations, and company profiles.</li><li>Maintain detailed tender logs, cost sheets, and post-bid analysis reports.</li><li>Present management with bid summaries, risk analysis, and profitability projections.</li></ul>5. Cross-Functional Coordination<ul><li>Work closely with project managers, architects, and procurement teams for input during bid preparation.</li><li>Conduct internal cost review meetings prior to final bid submission.</li><li>Assist management in client presentations and commercial negotiations.</li><li>Provide handover reports and cost breakdowns to project execution teams after award.</li></ul>Key Skills &amp; CompetenciesTechnical Proficiency:<ul><li>Deep understanding of interior fit-out materials, specifications, and execution methodology.</li><li>Strong command over BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost modeling.</li><li>Expertise in MS Excel (Advanced), AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and tender documentation tools.</li><li>Familiarity with e-tendering platforms.</li></ul>Soft Skills:<ul><li>Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.</li><li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li><li>Exceptional communication and presentation capabilities.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Education:</li></ul>B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Architecture (mandatory). MBA in Project Management / Operations.<ul><li>Experience:</li></ul>5&ndash;10 years in estimation, costing, or tendering within the turnkey interior contracting / fit-out / construction industry.
