HIRING PT LC (23 HOURS PER WEEK) - LEASING COMMISSIONS
 
Fogelman is hiring an experienced PT Leasing Consultant to join the team at Chestnut Farms, a 256-unit community located in the Matthews area of Charlotte. This PT position averages 23 hours per week with a schedule of 2-3 weekdays and 2 Saturdays/month. The ideal candidate possesses experience in sales or leasing, has strong customer service skills, and enjoys assisting with resident events. Entrata experience a plus!

SUMMARY
 The Leasing Consultant provides tours, completes the leasing process with prospective residents, and executes marketing strategies for the property. Responsibilities also include planning and hosting resident events for the community and maintaining positive resident relations.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 <ul>
<li>Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.</li>
<li>Accompanies prospects to model/vacant apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available amenities, and terms of lease.</li>
<li>Ensures consistent follow-up with prospects.</li>
<li>Processes application for approval in compliance with policies and procedures.</li>
<li>May be responsible for processing lease renewals.</li>
<li>Schedules move ins and completes all lease paperwork with prospect.</li>
<li>Walks all move-in's prior to the move in date to ensure readiness.</li>
<li>Follow up with new residents after move in.</li>
<li>Inspects condition of premises periodically and arranges for necessary maintenance.</li>
<li>Plans and coordinates resident events.</li>
<li>Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.</li>
<li>Assists with all marketing duties including preparation of market surveys.</li>
<li>Assists with sending out all resident notices.</li>
<li>Weekend work may be required.</li>
<li>Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.</li>
<li>Other job duties as assigned.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
 <ul>
<li>One year experience as a leasing professional is preferred.</li>
<li>Up to one year of related experience or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>Experience with virtual and in person community tours is preferred.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of property management platforms (i.e., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.</li>
<li>Marketing skills with the ability to execute a property marketing plan through outside marketing, social media and resident functions (familiar with the local market) preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship-building, and customer service skills.</li>
<li>Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.</li>

HIRING EXPERIENCED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - ON-CALL STIPEND - AMAZING TEAM
 
Fogelman is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team at Ansley at Roberts Lake Apartments, located in Arden. The ideal candidate has 3 plus years of maintenance experience at an apartment community, is HVAC certified, well-rounded in maintenance skills, strong with HVAC and appliance repairs, and provides exceptional customer service. Yardi & HappyCo experience a plus!

SUMMARY
 The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing maintenance service requests and repairs to the buildings and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor while providing excellent customer service to our residents.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Responsible for completing all service requests as assigned.</li>
<li>Responsible for the completion of all make-ready units.</li>
<li>Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.</li>
<li>Responsible for supplying all personal tools.</li>
<li>Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.</li>
<li>Assists in preventive maintenance projects.</li>
<li>Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.</li>
<li>Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed.</li>
<li>Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.</li>
<li>Be aware of and operate within company safety policies at all times.</li>
<li>Weekend work may be required.</li>
<li>Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.</li>
<li>Other job duties as assigned.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

<li>Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.</li>
<li>HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).</li>
<li>Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.</li>
<li>Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.</li>
<li>Proficient in use of computers and online applications.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.</li>
<li>Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.</li>
