<br><div><div><ul>Responsibilities: Develop and implement sustainability plans and programs, considering factors such as cost, feasibility, impact, and ability to conduct a cost benefit analysis on projects.<br>
Engage with agency, academic and NGO partners on collaborative projects, and with tribal community to promote sustainability efforts, both on- and off-reservation (i.e., ceded territories).<br>
Stay up to date on sustainability trends and best practices; identify and implement those relevant to tribal priorities.<br>
Work with other RMD staff as needed to coordinate project activities, track and report on project milestones and measures of success, evaluate effectiveness and develop strategies to address sustainability challenges.<br>
Work with the RMD team to identify, plan and implement appropriate restoration projects for forest lands and forested wetlands.<br>
Collaborate with other FDL departments to integrate sustainability into policies and practices.<br>
Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to communicate sustainability initiatives highlighting their effectiveness and environmental impact.<br>
Produce resources, including brochures, fact sheets, pollen reduction data, and online media content to promote sustainability practices, procedures and objectives.<br>
Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems.<br>
Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers.<br>
Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community.<br>
Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies.<br>

<br><div>Qualifications: Valid Driver&rsquo;s License issued in the US required.<br>
Driving eligibility determined by FDL approved guidelines.<br>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability or related discipline required; master&rsquo;s degree preferred.<br>
Minimum of two years&rsquo; work experience in the environmental, engineering, or natural resources field required.<br>
Computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, database, Microsoft Outlook) are required.<br>
Experience with GIS/GPS technology required.<br>
Experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation required.<br>
Experience with environmental data management and analysis, graphical display preferred.<br>
Experience in environmental management and sustainability policy development preferred.<br>
Experience working with local and other governments, community organizations or NGOs on sustainability initiatives preferred.<br>
Experience in writing grant proposals and managing grant-funded projects is preferred.<br>
Knowledge of Native American communities, culture, customs and beliefs is preferred.<br>
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required.<br>
Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required<br>
Attention to detail and accuracy is required.<br>
The ability to meet deadlines as demonstrated by the timely completion of reports, plans, and other types of work is required.<br>
Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved.<br>

Some travel is required. The Sustainability Analyst will be expected to attend professional meetings and training workshops in related fields.<br>

Sustainability Analyst

<b>Rate of Pay: </b>$15.99 to $17.99 Hourly</div></div>
<br><div><ul>Responsibilities: Classroom:<br>
May include working with children with special needs.<br>
Provide developmentally enriching experiences for children, individually or in groups which are culturally appropriate.<br>
Assist Program staff in carrying out activities related to health, e.g., toileting, diapering, safety in classroom, dental hygiene, and nutrition activities.<br>
Serve as a primary caregiver for children in the classroom.<br>
Food Service:<br>
Duties including assisting with food service by doing prep work and setting up serving carts.<br>
Putting away groceries.<br>
Daily sweeping and mopping of kitchen, washing dishes and cleaning appliances as needed.<br>
Maintenance:<br>
Duties include routine classroom cleaning/maintenance to ensure a safe, clean and secure learning environment for all students including playgroup area.<br>
Clean the interior and exterior of head start buildings daily.<br>
Clean bathrooms and offices daily.<br>
Assigned seasonal duties as needed.<br>
Office:<br>
Maintain records and paperwork in a confidential manner.<br>
Greet families upon arrival.<br>
Route phone calls and messages to classrooms.<br>
Provide administrative support for the Head Start staff.<br>
General Responsibilities:<br>

Actively advocate and demonstrate appropriate adult/child interactions.<br>
Maintain a professional relationship with all staff and community members.<br>
Maintain professional standards toward creating confidential relationships with all program participants and staff.<br>
Participate in Head Start trainings when requested.<br>
Appropriate work attire is required.<br>
Must attend all mandatory department trainings.<br>
Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees and/or clients.<br>

Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required.<br>
