A successful candidate will have the following:
FH is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to serve as the administrator for several critical HR functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. The qualified HR Generalist will have at least 4 years of HR experience, a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in HR or related field and:<ul><li>
A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a Christian commitment to serving the poor, and in full agreement with FH&rsquo;s Christian beliefs.</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (ability to build rapport, resolve conflicts, and foster positive relationships).</li><li>
Problem solving and critical thinking skills (ability to analyze complex HR issues and develop effective solutions).</li><li>
Organizational and time management skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in HRIS and HR Technology tools.</li><li>
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.</li><li>
Ability to build collaborative relationships.</li><li>
Decision-making skills/Sound judgement (particularly in sensitive employee relations matters).</li><li>
Change management.</li><li>
Ability to multitask and prioritize.</li><li>
Facilitation skills</li></ul>
What you&rsquo;ll do&hellip;
As the HR Generalist you will be responsible for:<ul><li>
Handle the backend of the recruiting process and oversee the onboarding process for new hires as well as assist with the offboarding process to ensure best-in-class experience.</li><li>
Provide expertise and guidance on various HR matters.</li><li>
Support benefits enrollment process, compensation process, performance management process, learning &amp; development process and employee engagement.</li><li>
Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts including investigations, and foster a positive work environment.</li><li>
Process semi-monthly and monthly payroll for the Global Service Center, including quarterly tax filings.</li><li>
Manage employee records, benefit administration and HRIS systems.</li><li>
Ensure legal compliance with state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.</li><li>
Assist in developing and executing global Talent &amp; Culture procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.</li><li>
Participate in development of Talent &amp; Culture objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.</li><li>
Administer US &amp; International benefits, wellness and employee performance programs.</li><li>
Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the global Talent &amp; Culture department and organization, and to improve the employee experience.</li><li>
Maintain and update Talent &amp; Culture systems and perform audits for accuracy and compliance.</li><li>
Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook and organizational charts.</li><li>
Provide metrics and reports as needed for ongoing company requirements.</li><li>
Work proactively with colleagues to ensure an integrated approach to Talent &amp; Culture service delivery, backfilling and assisting as appropriate.</li></ul>
