   Rooming patients and documents all vital information
  </li>
  <li>
   Scribing information for the dermatologist
  </li>
  <li>
   Providing post op wound care to patients
  </li>
  <li>
   Drawing blood and suture removal
  </li>
  <li>
   Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
  </li>
  <li>
   Scheduling patient appointments

  Education:

 Minimum post high-school education in a medical support field: Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse (

  Non-Certified Medical Assistants will need to complete the Forefront Derm Tech certification program within the prescribed time period and maintain certification upon expiration).

  Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities
  <br/>

 </strong>

   1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
  </li>
  <li>
   Certified Medical Assistant, DERM Tech a plus
  </li>
  <li>
   Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
  </li>
  <li>
   Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
  </li>
  <li>
   Must possess organizational and communication skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
  </li>
  <li>
   Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all cosmetic discussions regarding all available cosmetic treatment options available.</li><li>
Responsible for aftercare instructions, relaying information between the doctor and the patient and from the patient to the doctor and schedule appropriate follow up and treatments.</li></ul>
Qualifications:

Education, Skills &amp; Experience:</b></div><ul><li>
Graduate of an accredited esthetician program or commensurate experience.1-2 years of related experience in a medical office or spa setting is preferred.</li><li>
Proficiency in basic computer functions and keyboarding is required.</li><li>
Ability to learn new software quickly and operate standard office equipment is required.</li><li>
Ability to understand physician&rsquo;s instructions and know when to seek additional information or clarification is required.</li><li>
Demonstrates professional appearance and manner at all times.</li><li>
