What we are looking for:</div><div>
The Administrative Specialist position exists in the Fleet Services Unit. The general responsibilities include:</div><ul><li>
Providing general business administration support.</li><li>
Coordination / management of fleet services fueling system agency wide.</li><li>
Ensure effective accounts payable support for goods and services.</li><li>
Provide essential operational support that meets the needs of users.</li><li>
Perform accounts payable, asset /property controls and tracking, operational support, and other business services to the Fleet Services program and district field offices.</li></ul><div></div><div>
Minimum Qualifications:</div><div>
Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data</div><div>
OR</div><div>
An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data</div><div>
OR</div><div>
An equivalent combination of education and experience.</div><div></div><div>
Note: Driver&rsquo;s License Check - This position requires the operation of a state vehicle for the purpose of conducting official State business. If your license is from outside Oregon, you must submit at least a three-year court/DMV printout. If you have an Oregon driver&rsquo;s license, a record check will be conducted on the top candidate to ensure a valid license and acceptable driving record.</div><div></div><div>
Desired Skills:</div><ul><li>
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, specifically Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.</li><li>
Ability to make decisions prioritizing daily workload and special projects.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to develop procedures, systems and forms necessary to complete work and ensure efficient flow of information or delivery of services.</li><li>
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.</li><li>
Ability to gather and organize data and prepare narrative and statistical reports.</li></ul><div></div><div>
