The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a professional demeanor to manage front desk operations in a legal setting.Responsibilities:- Greet clients and visitors with a welcoming attitude- Answer and direct phone calls- Schedule appointments and manage attorney calendar-Organize and maintain legal documents, including discovery and pleadings- Communicate and coordinate with subject matter experts-Attend trial and hearings to provide support, as needed- Perform order entry tasks and maintain client databases- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness- Handle incoming and outgoing mail efficientlySkills:The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator, pay attention to detail, be self-sufficient, and follow through on tasks in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:- Proficiency in phone systems- Strong organizational skills to manage client files, including organizing discovery within the case management data base-Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel-Experience with computerized systems &amp; legal software- Attention to detail for proofreading legal documents- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clientsThis position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join a fierce and compassionate criminal defense firm.
