 Job Description: Assistant Facilities Manager
 
 
 
 
 Position Overview
 
 
 
 The Assistant Facilities Manager will support the Facilities Manager in overseeing the maintenance and operations of the organization&rsquo;s properties. The role involves assisting in preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with vendors and contractors, supervising day-to-day facilities operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This position is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can support in managing diverse facility requirements while ensuring smooth operations.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilitie
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 sAssist the Facilities Manager in planning and executing
 
 preventive, corrective, routine, and emergency maintenanc
 
 e across facilities, including civil, MEP, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and swimming pool systems
 </li>
 <li>
 .Support in scheduling and coordinating maintenance and repair activities for equipment and systems such as
 
 chillers, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire detection, and building security system

 </li>
 <li>
 .Conduct
 
 regular inspection
 
 s of properties to identify maintenance issues and escalate for corrective action
 </li>
 <li>
 .Monitor
 
 Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs
 
 ) and liaise with subcontractors to ensure services are delivered as per agreed standards and SLAs
 </li>
 <li>
 .Assist in preparing
 
 RFQs and quotation
 
 s for external vendors and service providers
 </li>
 <li>
 .Maintain records of maintenance requests, track completion timelines, and ensure compliance with SLAs
 </li>
 <li>
 .Coordinate with internal stakeholders and departments on operational and maintenance issues
 </li>
 <li>
 .Support the
 
 supervision of the facilities tea
 
 m, ensuring assigned tasks are completed efficiently and safely
 </li>
 <li>
 .Assist with facility modifications, relocations, and space planning projects (e.g., office reconfiguration, furniture installation)
 </li>

 s, ensuring safe work practices across sites
 </li>

 .Provide administrative and technical support in property maintenance documentation, reporting, and compliance
 </li>
