General Description:Manage human resources and volunteer programs. Provide administrative and grant support. Assist with marketing responsibilities and developing community relationships.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide administrative support for the Agency by completing tasks such as but not limited to:<ul><li>Grant Support</li><li>Attend external meetings and build partnerships</li></ul>Human Resources<ul><li>Manage recruiting and job positions</li><li>Posting of positions, onboarding agency documents</li><li>Compliance, including affirmative action and training programs</li><li>Policies</li></ul>i. Create new policies when neededii. Annually review policies and submit recommendations to Leadership Team<ul><li>Oversee background checks and licensure requirements</li><li>Personnel file maintenance as required</li></ul>Volunteer Program<ul><li>Manage volunteer recruitment and coordination of volunteers</li><li>Process and maintain volunteer documents</li><li>Oversee, coordinate and manage volunteer programs:</li></ul>i. Volunteer Transportationii. Phone-A-Friendiii. Plan annual training meeting for volunteersAttend and participate in agency events, trainings, in-services and meetingsAll other duties assigned by supervisorQualifications:<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets</li><li>Ability to work with older adults, community members and businesses</li><li>Thorough, efficient and flexible, able to work independently</li><li>Ability to maintain accurate and organized records</li><li>Must be friendly and demonstrate a caring attitude at all times</li><li>Punctual and able to work scheduled hours</li><li>Trustworthy and committed to confidentiality of Agency information</li><li>Professional and ethical conduct is required at all times</li><li>Must have valid Michigan driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Must possess a cell phone</li></ul>Education and/or Experience: <ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from four-year college or university, preferably in public relations, public health, human resources or a related field, or social services or significant experience with public relations.</li><li>1-3 years' experience in an HR coordinator or similar HR support role</li><li>Experience in human services working with older clientele is helpful.</li></ul>Position Reports To:<ul><li>Executive Director</li></ul>Position Status:<ul><li>Part time, 20- 24 hours per week, four days a week, non-exempt</li></ul>Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
