This position offers the chance to move away from a traditional desk job and into a meaningful role where you are a trusted protector of both pets and their homes.What You'll Be Doing:<ul><li>Providing personalized care (walks, feeding, medication, play, etc.) to dogs, cats, and other small animals in their homes.</li><li>Building trust through clear, timely communication with clients and our team.</li><li>Respectfully caring for clients' homes (security checks, mail, plant care, etc.).</li><li>Managing your schedule independently using our mobile app.</li><li>Thriving in a fast-paced, physical role that keeps you moving outdoors in all weather.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Great Pay: $16.00/hour base wage plus tips and paid mileage ($0.20/mile) between visits. Our Guardians typically average $20 to $25 per hour and are paid weekly.</li><li>Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours (up to 25 hours a week)</li><li>Supportive Team: Work alongside passionate and like-minded individuals.</li><li>Employee Status: W-2 employment (not a contractor).</li><li>Professional Benefits: Paid Sick Leave, time and a half for holidays, Pet Sitter Certification, Pet First Aid &amp; CPR Certification, and paid on-the-job training.</li><li>Security: We cover you with bonding, General Liability, and Workers' Comp insurance.</li><li>Growth: Raises and advancement opportunities are available after 6 months. We only promote from within&mdash;every leader starts right here as a Guardian.</li></ul>Who We Are Looking For:We don't require professional pet care experience&mdash;we can teach you the technical skills. We hire for heart, integrity, and willingness to learn.<ul><li>You must be highly dependable and professional.</li><li>You genuinely love working with animals, even when the job is messy (it can get messy!).</li><li>You must be physically able to handle large dogs and the physical demands of the job (lifting, bending, walking long distances).</li><li>You are a self-manager who can follow detailed instructions, communicate effectively, and think ahead.</li><li>You have flexible availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>We are currently in need of weekday 10am-3pm availability in BRIGHTON.</li></ul>Requirements: Must have a reliable, insured vehicle, a valid driver's license, a smartphone with a data plan, and pass a comprehensive background check.
