 About The Position
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Manages the staff at the Front Desk, Guest Services, and Concierge (in absence of Concierge). Interviews, trains and schedules the staff.
 </li>

 Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed. Coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved. Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Follows up on credit problems with Front Office Manager and/or Credit Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reviews all paid-outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements and Direct Billings. Checks cashiers&rsquo; work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available. Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
 </li>
 <li>
 Checks guest in and out in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issues correct keys to the guest. Checks out guest at end of stay.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest. Settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complies with Four Seasons&rsquo; Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
 </li>
 <li>
 Accepts reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator.

 Preferred Qualifications And Skills

 Excellent written and verbal grammar and composition skills.

 Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in Front Office and/or Concierge responsibilities.

 The Role
 
 
 
 The Assistant Front Desk Manager will act as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available. Will manage shifts in the Rooms Departments as required.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Operating from the Residential Lobby and Front Drive, the
 
 Bell Attendant
 
 is an integral part of the Residential Services Team whose main objective is to ensure our residents are well looked after from the start. As the first and last impression of the Four Seasons Private Residences, this high-profile department carries a special responsibility. The Bell Attendant is stationed at the bell stand inside the building and greets each resident by name upon arrival and departure. The Bell Attendant transports luggage to the residences for arrivals and transports luggage for departing residents to the entrance or into temporary storage. The Bell Attendant also provides arriving residents with a Four Seasons Private Residences orientation, delivers packages and parcels.
 
 
 
 TASKS
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Responds to a wide variety of homeowner requests by accurately assessing the Resident&rsquo;s needs and inquiries; offering personal recommendations and personalized touches to achieve maximum resident satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 When necessary, greets guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the residence. Assists guests descending from cars. Issues appropriate valet parking ticket to guests who want cars parked. Gives verbal greetings to guests arriving on foot. Opens residence doors for all guests and manages the door operations needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist residents with luggage, transportation requirements, deliveries, parcels, wine deliveries, groceries, etc. following instructions as specified in the Residence Unit Admittance Forms. Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-up.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists residents, visitors, and/or vendors in all inquiries in connection with residential common areas, hours of operations, key residences personnel, directions, etc. Must be familiar with all common areas and services offered at the residences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Greets all residents and their guests passing through lobby and offers them assistance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists in Residential Lobby service - answer telephones at the residences Concierge Desk, deliver messages, packages, laundry, groceries, etc. to units.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliveries in-residence dining requests from 3rd party vendors to unit as requested
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures the residences lobby is always clean, including bell carts and storage area.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complies with Four Seasons Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
 </li>

 Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to use a variety of IT systems to perform his own duties and assist homeowners on basic functionality.

 To assist the Concierge when needed during busy periods and when required.

 Oversees the Front Desk and Concierge operations and acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available. Directs staff that performs the following duties and will also perform these duties on own: welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons&rsquo; policies.
