 Position Overview
 
 
 
 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Shift Supervisor to join our prestigious team at Four Seasons Private Residences Istanbul. This role is responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of technical maintenance and repair operations throughout the property, ensuring resident satisfaction and operational efficiency in alignment with the Four Seasons standards of excellence.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities

 Electrical Systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Replace and maintain lighting fixtures, drivers, switches, sockets, and dimmers
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical panels, RCDs, and circuit breakers
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and report faults in busbar distribution systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnose and resolve faults related to electrical wiring, cables, and connections
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in generator operations, fuel checks, and annual servicing
 </li>
 <li>
 Elevator &amp; Fire Safety Systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform emergency elevator rescues and reset systems when required
 </li>
 <li>
 Accompany elevator service providers during inspections and maintenance
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect and maintain fire suppression systems, sprinklers, fire pumps, valves, and sensors
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular fire alarm system checks and respond to emergencies appropriately
 </li>
 <li>
 HVAC &amp; Climate Systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate and maintain natural gas boilers, including reset and blowdown operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with flue gas measurements and boiler service procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain VRF, split A/C systems, air handling units, and ventilation systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Replace or wash HVAC filters and ensure belt-pulley mechanisms are in working condition
 </li>
 <li>
 Plumbing &amp; Water Systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect and resolve issues related to sanitary piping, drainage, and water fixtures
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate and maintain water purification systems and chemical dosing (e.g., pH, chlorine)
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage swimming pool water quality, backwashing, dosing systems, and robotic cleaning
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with pipe welding, repairs, and valve replacements when needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical &amp; Facility Support
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct maintenance on motorized equipment including barriers, blinds, and shades
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot and reset building automation and lighting control systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with CCTV camera setup and maintenance
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain audio-visual setups in cinema rooms, meeting areas, and recreational spaces
 </li>

 Building Maintenance &amp; Repair
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform minor construction works, such as drywall repair, plastering, and painting
 </li>
 <li>
 Carry out light carpentry and furniture maintenance
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with equipment relocations, signage installations, and visual displays
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with pest control, waste oil collection, and fa&ccedil;ade cleaning teams

 Record utility meter readings and contribute to monthly reporting

 Required Qualifications &amp; Skills

 Technical high school or associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Mechatronics

 Holds valid technical certifications (electrician license, pool operator, boiler operator, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 3&ndash;5 years of experience in residential complexes, hotels, or hospitals
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong troubleshooting ability and problem-solving skills under pressure
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) and familiarity with building automation systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends

 Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit

 What You Will Do
 
 
 
 Checks in guests in an efficient and friendly manner, using guests' names whenever possible. Ensures that the guest is assigned the requested type of room and that the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to the guest room. Issue the correct keys to the guest.
 
 
 Checks out the guest at the end of the stay. Ensures guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges, and presents the bill to the guest. Settles the bill accurately through a credit card or cash transaction.
 
 
 Resolves customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guests will be in person and by phone.
 
 
 Maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel. Makes change, cashes checks, and exchanges foreign currency. Reconciles all transactions at the close of each shift.
 
 
 Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
 
 
 Complies with Four Seasons&rsquo; Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in Empact.
 
 
 Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
 
 
 Accepts reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of the Reservations Department Staff. Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator.

 Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Concierge, Bell Staff, Business Center, and lobby coverage.  who is well-mannered, visionary, and passionate and having a deep understanding of building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire &amp; safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons&rsquo; policies.
 
 
 Assist in the hiring, training, supervision, scheduling, counseling, and evaluation of performance and planning the activities of maintenance staff including making spot checks on a daily basis. Ensure proper execution of work order/request system and that items are followed up on when necessary.  Prepare requisitions for purchase and work orders and liaise effectively with the Director of Purchasing. Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies and rules to ensure an efficient department. Maintain logs on movement of stock items and tools and monitor distribution of items.

 To prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.

 To help the Chef de partie/Demi chef de partie/Commis I to establish standard recipes and ensure the compliance with them.

 Constantly inspect taste, temperature and visual appeal, make sure that all dishes are uniform and that established portion sizes are adhered to.

 To participate in product development and in controlling the smooth operation of the kitchen.
