<br><div><p>This position will be responsible for preventive maintenance and repairing of equipment, machinery , as well as all other systems associated with a packing facility such as electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance and repair.<br>
</p><p></p><p><b>Essential Functions
</b></p><ul><li>Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues
</li><li>Diagnos e and troubleshoot mechanical problems, making necessary repairs or adjustments to machinery and equipment
</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating, cleaning, and replacing parts to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
</li><li>Respond to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and production disruptions
</li><li>Collaborat e with other maintenance team members and production staff to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks
</li><li>Document maintenance and repair activities including work performed, parts used, and equipment condition, in maintenance logs or computerized systems
</li><li>Conduct te sts and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
</li><li>Order and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for maintenance and repairs
</li><li>Operat e tools, equipment, and machinery safely and effectively, following proper procedures and guidelines
</li><li>Stay updated on industry advancements and technologies related to maintenance practices, participating in training programs or workshops as needed
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul></div><div></div>

</li><li>Technical degree or certification in mechanical maintenance or related field preferred
</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role
</li><li>In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
</li><li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance and repair
</li><li>Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and perform repairs
</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
</li>Driver's license may be required<br>
