The Operations Manager (OM) is a critical role responsible for maintaining a culture of safety and operational excellence at their jobsite. The OM is tasked with overseeing all safety measures, scheduling, staffing, supply management, documentation, quality control, training, and client communication. The OM must enforce safety policies, manage daily operations efficiently, and ensure high-quality service delivery. This role requires frequent interaction with the Safety Department, accurate documentation, proactive problem-solving, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety and Compliance:
<ul><li>Safety Culture: Prioritize and champion a safety culture daily, ensuring all team members adhere to internal and external safety expectations.</li><li>
Safety Ambassador: Act as the ultimate safety ambassador onsite, maintaining constant contact with the Safety Department for guidance on safety concerns and issues.</li><li>
Safety Reporting: Disseminate safety findings to the team weekly via the HIT Form and ensure compliance with safety policy 700.</li><li>
Safety Evaluation: Stringently evaluate jobsite safety, report potential hazards, mitigation procedures, or incidents to the Safety Department.</li><li>
Incident Management: Address safety issues proactively with a &quot;better safe than sorry&quot; attitude.</li></ul>
2. Scheduling and Attendance:
<ul><li>Weekly Schedule: Finalize and share the weekly schedule by 8 PM Sunday night. Forecast scheduling needs and make adjustments as required.</li><li>
Attendance: Maintain an acceptable attendance record and ensure proper documentation of tardiness and absences for the crew.</li></ul>
3. Staffing and Performance Management:
<ul><li>Hiring Needs: Predict and communicate any hiring needs to the staffing team promptly. Assist in staffing interviews as requested.</li><li>
Performance Reviews: Conduct quarterly performance reviews for team leads and ASs. Manage turnover by addressing staff issues and hosting monthly team meetings to gauge morale.</li><li>
Team Meetings: Facilitate monthly team meetings to address morale and any issues.</li></ul>
4. Supply and Equipment Management:
<ul><li>Supply Management: Ensure the station is consistently stocked with necessary supplies, including proactive ordering from external sources if needed. Approve and submit locker reorder forms in a timely manner.</li><li>
Inventory Audits: Perform monthly audits on equipment status and chemical stock. Organize and manage the supply locker for efficiency and safety.</li><li>
Inventory Tracking: Update all inventory management tracking systems and associated checklists.</li></ul>
5. Documentation and Administration:
<ul><li>Form Accuracy: Audit and verify all forms, including badge trackers, disciplinary action forms, HIT Forms, and termination forms.</li><li>
Payroll and Expenses: Submit payroll and expense reports on time and accurately. Approve or deny PTO requests for team members.</li><li>
Financial Pulse: Meet finance compliance and complete the Financial Pulse Sheet. Document and address any issues with disciplinary actions and terminations.</li><li>
Customer Information: Create new customers in QuickBooks and communicate with Accounts Payable/Receivable as needed.</li></ul>
6. Quality Control:
<ul><li>Quality Management: Master quality standards, teach and rectify quality complaints, and catch issues before clients do. Ensure all jobs are completed per company procedures.</li><li>
Quality Audits: Conduct internal audits and ensure the location meets the composite quality score of 3.75.</li></ul>
7. Training and Development:
<ul><li>Training Plans: Provide thorough training to all team members and develop training plans for new hires, including coordinating with the Training Department for advanced sessions.</li><li>
Recurrent Training: Proactively reach out to the Training Department for recurrent training sessions as needed.</li></ul>
8. Communication and Reporting:
<ul><li>Effective Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the PM, co-workers, supervisors, and clients regarding labor budgets, P&amp;L, staffing, and safety.</li><li>
Client Interaction: Communicate regularly with clients to share updates, manage time constraints, address workflow disruptions, and handle quality complaints.</li><li>
Execute targeted upselling strategies by engaging directly with program managers and customers to identify service expansion opportunities and align solutions with operational needs</li><li>
Professionalism: Conduct professional correspondence via email and with personnel. Debrief using the &quot;five W's.&quot;</li></ul>
9. Vehicle Management:
<ul><li>Vehicle Audits: Audit vehicles for safety, maintenance, and cleanliness. Ensure timely maintenance and communicate deficiencies to the PM.</li><li>
Legal Compliance: Ensure vehicles meet legal compliance prior to travel and manage basic maintenance up to $350 without approval.</li><li>
Accident Protocol: Be trained in accident protocol.</li></ul>
10. Operational Support:
<ul><li>Pop-Up Jobs: Assist with pop-up jobs and be willing to travel and stay overnight as needed for 5-7 days.</li><li>
Operational Committees: Participate in operational committees (e.g., People's Committee, Safety Committee) and demonstrate location solidarity by working with the team.</li><li>
Sales Leads: Share new customer sale leads with the PM but have the autonomy to close on project sales.</li><li>
P&amp;L Updates: Regularly update and review the location's P&amp;L.</li></ul>
Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):
<ul><li>Success metric is 100% checklist compliance and no quality complaints</li>
<li>Success metric is hitting revenue goals and receiving customer compliments through our feedback system</li>
<li>Success metric is less than 35% annual full time turnover at the location</li>
</ul>Qualifications:
<ul><li>Proven knowledge of safety regulations and operational best practices.</li><li>
Proven experience in a managerial role with a focus on safety, scheduling, staffing, and quality control.</li><li>
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in documentation, payroll management, and inventory tracking.</li><li>
Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours.</li></ul>
Education and Experience:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Safety, or related field preferred.</li><li>
1-3 years management or supervisory experience preferred, be willing to perform very physical work, and have open schedule availability.</li><li>
Relevant certifications in safety and management are a plus.</li></ul>
Working Conditions:
<ul><li>Regular travel and occasional overnight stays are required.</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for urgent issues.</li>
<li>Lifting up to 50lbs, bending, and twisting</li>
<li>Working with a high level of detail 8 to 10 hours per day</li>
<li>Medically cleared to operate heavy machinery and perform all physical work</li>
<li>The candidate needs to be excellent at communication and available by a cell phone with a consistent number.</li>
<li>The candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable</li>

This position will require an open and flexible work schedule 7 days a week that includes weekends and some holidays.
The Aviation Supervisor (AS) is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency within the aircraft detailing team. The AS will work closely with and assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring the quality of service provided to clients. This role requires a proactive, organized, and adaptable leader with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of safety and operational procedures. The Aviation Supervisor will also handle scheduling, team training, and ensure accurate safety compliance documentation. 
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety Management:
<ul><li>Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, particularly Policy 700, and enforce these policies across the team.</li><li>
Identify and communicate any hazardous behaviors or unsafe conditions on the jobsite.</li><li>
Develop and implement strategies to improve safety standards on all worksites.</li><li>
Complete and submit safety documentation including HIT Forms, Safety Stand Downs, and Hazardous Attitude Reports.</li><li>
Assist in incident investigations, ensuring proper documentation, communication, and follow-through.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Training/Safety Department to ensure up-to-date compliance with safety protocols and maintain accurate training records.</li></ul>
2. Scheduling and Staffing:
<ul><li>Build and manage work schedules to optimize operational flow and meet service needs.</li><li>
Report scheduling requests or concerns to the Operations Manager and adapt to changes in a positive manner.</li><li>
In the absence of the Operations Manager, assume full responsibility for scheduling and operational coordination.</li><li>
Document and report attendance, call-offs, or absences and communicate this information to the OM.</li><li>
Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing candidates and ensuring timely onboarding, background checks, and drug testing.</li><li>
Assess team member skills, provide feedback, and communicate personnel needs and performance issues to the OM.</li><li>
Ensure staffing levels align with job budgets, and address any attendance or personnel issues with the OM.</li></ul>
3. Quality Control &amp; Certification:
<ul><li>Maintain Level 4 Certification and ensure annual recertification.</li><li>
Conduct detailed inspections of aircraft to identify quality imperfections and ensure all work meets company standards.</li><li>
Perform final quality control (QC) checks on aircraft and resolve issues such as missed bugs, bright work, and interior cleanliness.</li><li>
Track and complete Critical to Quality (CTQ) audits and quality assessments.</li></ul>
4. Team Training and Development:
<ul><li>Lead training sessions for team members on aircraft detailing procedures, safety compliance, and operational standards.</li><li>
Create and present training materials, including slide decks, to ensure all new hires are equipped with the necessary knowledge.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Training/Safety Department to ensure consistent safety compliance and track training progress.</li></ul>
5. Operational Support:
<ul><li>Ensure the GO-Bag, carts, and van stock meet the minimum operational needs by reviewing reorder forms with the OM.</li><li>
Identify and rectify shortages or inadequacies in equipment or chemical supplies.</li><li>
Oversee that all vehicles are properly fueled, maintained, and ready for dispatch. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report discrepancies or damages to the OM.</li><li>
Ensure vehicles and equipment are operated in compliance with airport permit regulations, especially when working within the Aircraft Operations Area (AOA).</li></ul>
6. Customer and Team Communication:
<ul><li>Communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, supervisors, administrators, and upper management.</li><li>
Respond to customer requests and inquiries in a professional manner, ensuring client satisfaction.</li><li>
Clearly communicate operational pain points and improvements to the OM and management team.</li><li>
Manage and close out transient email threads and coordinate job tasks in the absence of the OM.</li><li>
Address any personnel issues promptly and communicate with HR as needed.</li></ul>
7. Ad-hoc Tasks and Operations Management:
<ul><li>Be willing to take on ad-hoc tasks or projects, whether locally or non-locally, as required by the operation.</li><li>
Serve as a backup for the Operations Manager, ensuring continuity of operations and filling any operational gaps.</li><li>
Identify and suggest improvements to operational processes to increase efficiency and service quality.</li><li>
Maintain a full understanding of the Operations Manual for the location and ensure adherence to all procedures.</li></ul>
8. Financial and Labor Metrics:
<ul><li>Track labor metrics and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and cost management.</li><li>
Monitor and report on labor overages and staffing compliance with the budget.</li><li>
Maintain awareness of +/- revenue goals and ensure operations align with P&amp;L objectives.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
Experience:
<ul><li>Minimum of1-2 years of supervisory experience in aircraft detailing, aviation operations, or a related field.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Solid understanding of aircraft detailing procedures, safety standards, and quality control processes.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with safety compliance, incident reporting, and safety documentation.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Strong leadership experience, including team management, scheduling, and personnel oversight.</li></ul>
Certifications and Skills:
<ul><li>Knowledge of aviation safety regulations and incident reporting procedures.</li><li>
Proficient in using scheduling and documentation software.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul><li>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks related to aircraft detailing, including lifting, bending, and working with cleaning chemicals.</li><li>
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and environments.</li><li>
Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the operational needs of the business.</li><li>
Must have an acceptable attendance record and demonstrate reliability in fulfilling shifts.</li><li>
Valid driver's license and the ability to operate company vehicles as needed.</li><li>
