 A large, highly regulated financial institution is looking for an experienced Technology Procurement / Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead complex sourcing initiatives across IT software and services. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, stakeholder advisory, and vendor negotiation.
 
 
 
 
 
 You&rsquo;ll own end-to-end sourcing engagements, from shaping the commercial approach through to negotiated contracts that balance cost, risk, and long-term value.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Role
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead high-value, complex negotiations across IT software and technology services
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a trusted commercial advisor to senior stakeholders across technology, finance, risk, and legal
 </li>
 <li>
 Design and execute sourcing strategies that drive measurable savings and cost avoidance
 </li>
 <li>
 Run competitive sourcing events (RFx) to improve pricing, terms, and supplier performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify financial, contractual, and operational risk, and proactively mitigate it
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze spend and vendor data to uncover cost reduction and optimization opportunities
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including MSAs, SOWs, and licensing agreements
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply best-in-class procurement practices while navigating a fast-paced, regulated environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Balance speed with rigor when managing multiple concurrent sourcing initiatives
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong background in strategic sourcing / procurement for IT software &amp; services
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of software commercial models: SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, on-prem, subscription, perpetual, maintenance structures
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven success delivering P&amp;L impact through savings and cost avoidance initiatives
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience negotiating with large, enterprise technology vendors
 </li>
 <li>
 Confident communicator who can influence and manage demanding stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working independently while collaborating across multiple teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Detail-oriented, commercially sharp, and resilient under pressure
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, technology, or a related field preferred
 </li>
