<div>NOTE: This is a full-time position and is on-site at our home office in Franklin, TN.

Summary: Pays employees and compiles payroll information by payroll preparation; completing reports; maintaining records.

Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Maintains payroll information, directing the collection, calculation and entering of data.</li>
<li>Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, job titles and location transfers, monitoring and inputting PTO, insurance coverage, deductions for benefits and wage garnishments.</li>
<li>Pay employees by directing the production of the information for issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.</li>
<li>Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, nontaxable wages, 401K benefits, workers compensation, health benefits, Department of Labor and unemployment wages for quarterly reports.</li>
<li>Determines payroll liabilities by approving calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, employer&rsquo;s social security, unemployment and workers compensation payments.</li>
<li>Work directly with HCM System as the Administrator &ndash; assisting employees with online payroll, resolve software issues, set up new locations, employees, company codes, taxes and stop payments.
</li><li>Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.</li>
<li>Complete employment and wage verifications.</li>
<li>Complete W-2 preparations, entering medical payment history and submitting to HCM System for processing.</li>
<li>Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management of needed actions.</li>
<li>Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.</li>
<li>Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on results.</li>
<li>Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.</li>
</ul>
 Additional Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Post Office errands as needed.</li>
<li>Provide support to the Operations and Administration Teams as needed.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Experience &amp; Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelors degree in related field desired.</li>
<li>7+ years of payroll experience.
</li><li>Multi-state payroll experience required.</li>
<li>Payroll experience in a high-volume work environment, including serving at least 500 employees on a regular basis.
</li><li>Restaurant, hospitality, or retail experience highly preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Workday and ADP.</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of federal and state income and social security taxes, employer&rsquo;s social security, unemployment and workers compensation payments.</li>
